Hi, we just migrated to a newer version of DVLS Server 2026.1.6.0 and imported our old configuration, moving to SQL Express 2025. Now the global session view shows each session as a double entry and in the general view they are not shown on mouseover. We tried everything from layout reset to cache emptying - no change. What could we do to debug this and get the session view back? Regards, Thomas

RDM can no longer pass through logon information for any PWSafe linked credentials. It reads the data fine -- I can view the usernames and passwords without issue, but opening an RDP session causes a native RDP logon popup to occur -- there's no passthrough. I've tried new credential entries -- which create fine, but still aren't used to authenticate for RDP sessions. I've tried new data sources, but nothing changes. This vault plugin is the only paid feature I use, so a fix would be appreciated. I'm using the current version of RDM, but this started effecting the older 2025 version, so I upgraded, hoping it was fixed. I don't know what started it, but it started this week. I would consider a complete reinstall, but I would think the upgrade would have fixed any corruption in the install.

Hi currently trying to script a syncer for imports from HPe IMC. I can get the information from IMC fine via their API, but i fail to get this to work as a synchronizer. Can someone give me an example what the $RDM object (i guess the Synchronizer generates this each run?) looks like? or maybe even a few lines on how to recreate it for testing outside of RDM... The documentation about the powershell synchronizer is not (yet?) very helpful IMO. Thanks, CryoRig

With smart sizing on or off the window is ridiculously small. Monitor connected to physical device is running at 1920x1080. Version 2026.1.15.0 and 16.0 running on Windows 11 ARM on a 5120 x1440 display. RDP connection to a Windows 11 VM displays ok. TightVNC to the same Mac from the same Windows laptop displays ok. Hello, Using RDM 2023.3.32 and DVLS 2025.3.15 with Azure App Proxy. When using RDM to connect to DVLS via Azure App Proxy, if the pre-authentication fails for any reason, RDM becomes unresponsive and needs to be closed via task bar or manager. The issue also seems to manifest if the connectivity to the data source is interrupted, which can trigger reauthentication, which may timeout if unnoticed by the user. When PowerShell session uses Windows Terminal external window, the 2 Windows Terminal windows start: one window with restored sessions from Windows Terminal opened from OS one window with configuration saved in RDM PowerShell session. Both windows run in the same Windows Terminal process. When PowerShell session uses Windows Terminal in embedded window, Windows Terminal opens all restored terminal tabs, but the new tab with requested configuration is not visible. Closing that embedded tab leaves Windows Terminal with all sessions running on the background and next time the embedded tab appears for couple of seconds and then disappears. My Windows Terminal is configured to open windows from previous session, when starting.

I have an older version Fortinet VPN/SSL client to connect to a client. When I add the current executable, I get an error ' Path not found'. The path is correct, but the executable file on the setup page is not the default executable on the setup page. I have checkedthe option to set the directory and filename, but I still get a Directory Not Found message. Is this a supported version? Any suggestions to setting the path and executable which have change names.

I'm running v2026.1.14.0 on Windows 11 23H2 and I'm unable to get the mouse jiggler to work when using RDP to Windows 2016 through Windows 2025 server. I've tried the steps I see in the other threads regarding troubleshooting this issue but none of them helped. I enabled trace logging for API hooking. May I send that log for diagnosis?

I have a PS script which I am able to use only in "Before opening" event when it is saved on the disk selecting "Execute PowerShell" like ($RDM . "NoMachine\NoMachine.ps1" GetRemoteIP WriteNoMachineConfig"). I like to have this script (NoMachine.ps1) in the DB and load it from there. I see "Execute macro/script/tool" which looks fine at the first glance but it is actually useless due to loosing the $RDM object. Perhabs a new PS instance get instanciated not using the one having the actual connection. It is possible to do what I wanna do or it is a missing implementation. It would be more convenient to edit script in one place in the DB as at every location and keep tracking on versioning etc.

I first thought it was because I had manually installed RDM manually using the .exe instead of the .msi (the .exe is much smaller). I'm not 100% sure if it was working with 2025.x but it definitely is not working with 2026.x. Hi. i've used vSphere Synchroniser to initially bring in all our VMs, then I choose to rename and move some out into a subfolder for important VMs. I've saved one as a template and changed the Custom Image, and blanked the VMID in the template. Now when I apply the template to all the VMs (Edit > Special Actions > Convert from Template), it deletes the VMID from the VM session entries as the value is blank in the template. Is there a way to prevent overwriting certain properties that are specific to entry types - I know we can "keep" the name, image, description, etc etc when we apply the template, but VMID isn't one of the options to keep as it's configured within the entry type. Screenshots in order show the progression from working VM (from the synchroniser) to non-working VM once the template is applied. Peter

hi, with a lot of vaults one must update each and every (new) entry to match personal preferences. Is it possible to say "on my machine any RDP session shall be opened on my second screen" in the client once instead of every entry in every vault? KR G.

Hello I've been looking into how I could disable the AI Assistant in RDM. Unfortunately, the closest I got are release notes mentioning that it is possible but I cannot find the system (?) setting. Could someone please help locating the setting? Thanks in advance! Kind regards, Nick

Is there a way to configure Remote Desktop Manager to get SFTP working with vCenter without changing the shell in vCenter (see article Using WinSCP with the VMware vCenter Server Appliance - JohnBorhek.com )? In WinSCP there is an advanced option SFTP server where you can fill in: shell /usr/libexec/sftp-server to get this working. I can't find this kind of setting in Remote Desktop Manager. Because our vcenters are only accesible through Devolutions Gateway we need to get this working within Remote Desktop Manager and can't use an external tool like WinSCP.

I would like to have the possibility to execute a rather lengthy shell skript on selected SSH Terminal connections on demand. Due to multiple reasons the usual anwser "just use ansible" is not usable here. In general, I have this working using the "Terminal Command" type. I just have some special wishes that I just can't get to work I cannot use "Custom Field" contents in the script. Is this really not possible, or am I missing something? The string "{HOME}" is being replace by the "HOME"-key (carriage return). That's extremely unhelpful when using shell scripts, that are supposed to work for a multitude of different targets. (Not even discussing, what a headache the identification of this behaviour was, because I never new that this doesn't only happen for autotype makros) What I really would like is a "copy the contents of a SHELL SCRIPT entry to a given filename and execute a number of shell commands afterwards" (move the file to one or more targets, depending on server-environment, change ownerships/permissions) I've tried googling, reading documentation, experimented with a lot of different ideas, but I cannot work around (in the third case: implement) any of this points. I'm sure I've missed lot's of information, but I'm about to give up. Does anyone have some hints what I might have missed? Regards, Jan P.S.: My main target is RDM on Windows. Fun side-fact: A lot of the configuration options for this area of entry types seem to be (some more, some less) sublty different on MacOS, causing an interesting outlook if team-members using Apple devices need to use these entries.

Hi! Since the update to RDM 2025.3.32.0 and DVLS 2025.3.16.0, when we try to create a Devolutions Send link from RDM, it shows the error "Der Dienst konnte nicht authentifiziert werden". I guess it comes from the German .NET Runtime, but it translates to "The service could not be authenticated". I found some posts online mentioning a .NET error "The caller was not authenticated by the service", so maybe that's the original English message. In the DVLS Event Log I see "DevolutionsSendGeneralException - Der Dienst konnte nicht authentifiziert werden". It works when creating the link on DVLS Web interface, but not in RDM. The IIS log file shows a successful POST request to DVLS at /api/devolutions-send/create-link-with-file Can you help me troubleshoot further? Thank you!

Since the update to RDM 2026.1.15.0 and DPS 2026.1.11.0 sometimes entries in the personal vault are shown twice or even quadruple. They work normally and usually when restarting RDM it is back to normal.

Hi We've noticed that since the update, Remote Desktop Manager's CPU usage is significantly higher. This is resulting in network interruptions on our Windows 365 clients when using Remote Desktop Manager. Is anything known about this? Regards, Oliver

[image] Hi, when duplicating an SSH Terminal entry which points to a cisco switch the following error appears. It tells me to enable kex: diffie-hellman-group14-sha1. When I do enable it for the entry it does work. But I'm guessing there is a reason why this algo is disabled by default. And it only happens when duplicating. When I create a new entry it works fine without enabling it. Any idea as to why this happens and is there a better workaround than to enable this algo for all entries?

Hello! Can you implement FIDO2 authentication in SSH authentication? I am using Yubikey to authenticate against servers but I don't see the option to use ED25519-SK. FIDO2 use residential (discoverable - new term) keys generated right on security key. It can be ED25519-SK or ECDSA-SK and then, if requested, it can be used to authenticate against hosts. It should work this way: use ED25519-SK private key (some kind of shortcut to physical security key) as key type open connection app ask to insert security key, enter PIN (not always the case if it's not generated with pin option), and use private key stored in it server check private key against public key, accept connection There must be implemented authentication for it right in RDM app to open prompt to insert security key, enter pin, and use it to authenticate.

hi, That application which was a little bit stuck. We are using "advanced -> profile name" with a special name for this session. We clicked the "clear cache on close" menu entry and closed the session. We reopened, but the session was still stuck. The profile name came back up again, so it had a fresh profile. We then switched back to the old name. It was stuck again. We then set the option "Clear Cache" in Settings. We reconnected to the session and suddenly it worked again. So the clear cache worked when this setting was set, but not when we used the menu "clear cache on close". All this on the latest version of RDM, but it happened on the latest 2025 version as well, because we were afraid to update beforehand ;)
