Since 2026.3.5.0 the functionality of the search has changed slightly. You used to be able to use the filter entries to search and then you could use the up and down arrow keys to navigate through entries and then use enter to launch a session. Since the update you are unable to use arrow keys/enter directly after typing something into the filter entires anymore

hi, I'm currently using 2026.3.10 on Windows 11. I had/have an issue I can't consistently reproduce (yet). It started after our migration from 2026.2 to 2026.3. After the upgrade, I initially installed 2026.3.8 and in my dashboard I saw several access requests. But when I click to review, the list is empty. Refreshing, (un)docking or restarting RDM doesn't work. I saw 2026.3.10 was available. Upgrading the client did fix the issue... ...until this afternoon. In my dashboard I see again several access requests, but the list for review is empty again. What did work this time was switching to another data source (same SQL source but admin-UPN) does give me back the list. My daily-UPN should also have the right permissions, so switched back, still got the list and I'm able to approve/deny. Even after restart of RDM, the list is available. So, as I'm not sure why it doesn't display sometimes and when/why it does show, I can't give you exact steps to reproduce at the moment, but it happened twice.

Hello the latest build 2026.3.10 introduced a bug when opening a RDP session through a template with different screen resolution. So a template with full screen will be opened in 1024x768 (i do not know the exact resolution) PS lates MAC version isn't affected. Thanks

Before 2026.3.x, clicking the navigation bar automatically focused the filter textbox (and also selected all text) so you could just click navigation to unhide it and start typing right away. Now you need to click navigation, click filter textbox, delete current filter and then start typing, which is much less productive. Also, as reported in another thread, when editing (navigation bar) filter, you can still press ENTER to open selected entry, but up/down arrows now changes filter based on filter history (nuking the filter you just typed and forcing you to erase/retype filter again), instead of moving entry selection like before. I don't know if this is an intentional change, but the previous behavior was MUCH more preferred. The other thread mentions 2026.3.10.0 fixed the second issue, but it did not in my case.

Hi, I'm currently testing the 2026.3.8.0 version, and encountered those bugs : Display was flickering sometimes during my tests : In a web session connecting to Azure, display was flickering at MFA prompt when mouse was put over an option of the MFA Window. I Also encountered display refresh problems on opened RDP sessions (some abnormal squares appearing here and there, or only displaying part of the screen - see below) [image] Column chooser display Connections group only on 1st column (when you fit it, group is not displayed entirely (see fig below) Column chooser does not display "Name" in title (see fig below) : [image] Column chooser does not seem to allow anymore to only display "Name" column without displaying the "Host" column, which was not the case in RDM 2026.1.x Not exhaustive list. I have used "Continuous ping" for at least 2 years, but since RDM 2026.3 it has become strange. In the past it used to emit a packed every 1 second, no matter if the host is reachable or not. This was the correct behavior. Starting with 2026.3 the gaps between packets are arbitrary. I checked the settings and there's 1 second there. After updating RDM to v2026.3.5.0 today, my team and I are having numerous issues with display sizing of RDP sessions with RDM. The only fix is to use RDP outside of RDM. I updated DVLS to latest v2026.3.5.0 and the same thing persists. See screenshot below. [image]

Hi, I tried the drag and drop from the drop down list, it is perfect ! What would also be good is to be able to sort them by Name for instance. I tried to drag a tab beyond the screen, and it scrolls naturally, also great ! thank you I tried to use the mouse wheel to scroll the tabs, it still jump 1 "page" at a time, instead of smooth scrolling. Is it something you can allow ? Small notes: the new interface is great but has a lot of bugs. Now I need to click on the 'Filter entries" field before typing the text.

We are also seeing rdp rendering issues only part of the screen is visible if you resize the screen it returns. Also the ping feature used to give you an ip address even it did not reply and now nothing is displayed. [image]

I do also experience many issues with multi display and high dpi setup. Application stopped to honor scaling and new right click menu becomes half accessible (reconnect disappears behind the screen). Ok, when i copy a command from the a active session in split screen and i right click to paste the command, that window should be come active. But it doesn't it keeps the active session from the copy window so when i press enter it inputs on the wrong screen. Not so good. [image]

I have several issues with the new display rendering, and I think 20+26.3.50 (?) and forward has been a huge step back in quality :( Currently on 2026.3.9.0. If I set the navigation pane on the vault to auto-hide, which I always do because I want the screen real estate, then I can't access the naviagation bar and I'm stuck on the current connected client. Here you can see I try to bring up the Navigation pane, and with the colored border it is easy to see that it tries to render the menu on top of the connected client, but ends up behind it and inaccessible. In order to reach the navigation pane, I must sign out of all connected clients. [image] second issue, it looks like I no longer get a list of tabs of the connected clients for quick and easy switching between them! This is a great example of a small details that makes a big difference. I'm very frustrated with the recent updates you've made to this otherwise reat prooduct.

I just upgraded from 2026.3.8 to .9. This fixed one issue for me but create a larger one. I usually have my navigation pane set to auto hide. When I need it, I click on the tab on the side of the RDM window and it pops up over my content (RDP session, web page). With 2026.3.9, the majority of the pane appears to render behind the main content (RDP session, web page). I can see the header, as it is displayed in the tab bar above the content, but the rest of my entries are hidden. This didn't occur in 2026.3.8.

Summary In Remote Desktop Manager 2026.2.18.0 (Windows), every embedded RDP session that is closed leaves its AxMsRdpClient11 ActiveX control (wrapped in Devolutions.RemoteDesktopManager.Frames.Embedded.RDPClient11) alive in the process. The control is kept reachable only by a COM RefCount GC handle pointing at its AxMsRdpClient11NotSafeForScriptingEventMulticaster, i.e. the event sink registered with the native mstscax COM object is never released. Each leaked control keeps one OS thread, its native mstscax buffers and its kernel handles alive, so the process grows without bound over a working day until RDM is restarted. After ~4.5 days of uptime and ~97 embedded sessions opened, the process reached 4.5 GB private bytes, 928 threads and 23,200 handles with only 20 sessions actually open. The machine became sluggish and the laptop fan ran continuously. Environment Item.......................................... Each open/close cycle leaves behind roughly one extra thread, several hundred handles and tens of MB of native memory. Nothing in managed code references the control any more. The only thing keeping it alive is the RefCount GC handle created by COM interop for the event multicaster, which means the native IMsTscAx object still holds the connection point sink. The sink is presumably never unadvised (or the AxHost is not disposed) when the tab closes. Correlated native symptoms Thread start addresses in the live process (mapped with NtQueryInformationThread(ThreadQuerySetWin32StartAddress)), with 19 sessions open: Start module................................... Threads.... Notes mstscax.dll (main worker entry)...... 649........... 34.2 per live session. Scales exactly with live sessions, so these are released correctly. TextInputMethodFormatter.dll.......... 117........... Matches the 117 event multicasters exactly. One per control ever created, never released. coreclr.dll............................................ 34 Intel graphics driver / ANGLE............ 43 Process growth observed while the user opened sessions 17 to 20: each new session added about 27 to 30 threads, 550 to 600 handles and 100 to 130 MB working set. Closing sessions did not give any of that back over the previous days. Managed heap was only ~0.55 GB of the 4.5 GB private bytes, so most of the leaked memory is native (mstscax bitmap caches, GPU surfaces) owned by the orphaned controls. Impact Process grows by roughly 30 to 40 MB, 1 thread and several hundred handles per closed RDP session. Kernel non-paged pool on the machine reached 2 GB with the process at 23k handles. Heavy users (dozens of RDP sessions per day) end up with a multi-GB RDM process and a sluggish machine within a few days, fixed only by restarting RDM. Workarounds found Restarting RDM releases everything. Running RDP sessions in an external process should contain the leak to the child process. Notes The full dump is not attached because it contains session credentials. The issue is easy to reproduce with the steps above; a heap comparison before and after 20 open/close cycles is enough to see it.

Identity in favorites updates don't propagate and cannot edit identities after restart but before open previous version 2026.2.17.0 64-bit (JIT) Since updating to 2026.2.16 and 17 I am having several issues I have an id that changes password daily so I placed it in my favorites. However now when I edit it and save it still shows the old password in favorites but when I switch back to the vault it shows the new password and then when I save there it finally propagates to favorites. It is as if the favorites view is holding on to a cached copy. If I restart RDM I used to be able to open the navigation panel and edit my admin id to change the password and then answer yes to the open previous sessions. Now the panel just beeps when I click it and will not open forcing me to cancel the open previous sessions

Best regards, Maxim Robert Hello, Version 2026.3.9.0 solves the undocking Tabs problem for me. The other issues are still present: Switching between Tabs is sometimes laggy. Sometimes the tab fails to refresh. Sometimes it just a white screen. Some time there is only a partial refresh as shown in the attached. In some rare cases the all application stops responding and comes back after maybe 10 seconds. [image] [image]

I can't find a way to present my open connection as tabs for easy switching between them? If this is no longer available, then it's a huge inconvenience and a big reason for me to stay on older versions of RDM. [image]

I use RDM with DVLS and Devolutions Gateway to access web pages in a restricted network. Since upgrading to 2026.3.8 a couple of days ago, some of these pages are unusable due to a change in how URLs are displayed when hovering over a link. In 2026.2 and in most other browsers, when hovering over a link, it displays the URL at the bottom of the page floating over the content (a toast?). It doesn't change the size of the viewport so the page doesn't need to re-render. However, in 2026.3.8, when I hover over a link, it creates a full width status bar to display the URL. It's not hovering over the content, so the page has to re-render/re-flow. Some apps are filled with links and don't behave properly like this. For instance, PRTG is one of the main web apps that I access, and it is totally unusable now.

Hello, After the upgrade to 2026.3 (2026.3.9) in particular, password auto-type stopped working. It's a critical function for me, because some contexts I use it in don't allow/don't handle password copy-paste through clipboard, and the passwords are generated, thus very difficult and long. It looks like RDM has no focus on the target session. It should type the characters not on the focused window, but on the target session. Repro: Open an RDP session to a target Windows machine. Open a notepad, or other app that would receive the keystrokes. Use the auto-type -> paste password on a credential entry Observe password is not typed If you click on the RDP session, so it gets focus, the last letters of the password may get typed, but not the whole password. Hi, I have also the problem that all custom icons are not shown, if the connection is open. If I switch the setting back to default the icon is shown. I havn't a VPN connection. Version 2026.3.8.0 regards Eric

Hello Since we updated to the new version 2026.3 we can't click on menus on synologies anymore: If we open a menu, and try to click something it imeediatly closes when we try to get to the menu entry. RDM Version: 2026.3.9.0 (also observed in 2026.3.8.0; worked as expected in 2026.2.18.0) OS: Windows Description After updating to version 2026.3 (specifically reproduced in 2026.3.8.0 and 2026.3.9.0), sub-entries no longer appear under their parent host entry when a quick search/filter is active in the Navigation pane. In version 2026.2.18.0, filtering by name displayed matching parent entries with an expand arrow (>), allowing us to quickly expand the host and launch sub-entries (such as RDP or VNC connections) directly from the tree view. In 2026.3.9.0, when the tree is filtered ((Filtered) state): The parent entry is displayed as a flat item without an expand icon. Sub-entries are completely hidden from the tree. To launch a sub-entry, we now have to click the parent host, open the Sub-entries dashboard tab, locate the item, and launch it via the context menu or double-click. Steps to Reproduce Create a parent entry (e.g., Host type) containing two or more sub-entries (e.g., RDP and VNC). Type a search query in the Navigation tree filter to locate the host. Observe the filtered tree result: the expand arrow is missing, and sub-entries cannot be viewed or expanded under the parent node. Expected Behavior The navigation tree should retain t he expand toggle for matching parent items during filtering, allowing immediate access to its sub-entries (matching the behavior of 2026.2.x). (I have attached two screenshots demonstrating the issue: one showing the sub-entries visible in the full tree view, and the other showing the missing expand toggle and sub-entries once the tree is filtered). Downgrading to v2026.2.19.0 restored access, which is what we've done for now. I was able to grab some diagnostic info and try some things before I downgraded. Here's what I tried (and some side notes that happened along the way): If I right-clicked the entry and opened in external view (so using the native Windows Remote Desktop), it worked just fine. Using "undocked" view did not. In both failure modes what happened is that the "Connection to <IP_ADDRESS>" screen would just stay stuck forever Double-clicking a website entry hung until we installed webview 2, despite the browser being set to Default, which is Google Chrome on that machine. Double-clicking a website entry loaded it in a background tab rather than focusing the tab.
