@everyone, The Integrated Security authentication method on SQL Server data source is broken in RDM Mac 5.5.0.0, because of a change made by Microsoft inside the framework Xamarin.Mac. We are waiting for a fix from their end. For more details on the issue, please consult https://github.com/mono/mono/issues/9028 As of now, the workaround would be to use database User to authenticate on the data source or rollback to RDM 5.4.0.0. This version can be downloaded here https://cdn.devolutions.net/download/Mac/Devolutions.RemoteDesktopManager.Mac.5.4.0.0.dmg I will update this post later when we will get more information's about the situation. Is it a feature or a limitation that I cannot use configured shortcuts inside an RDP session? I have configured a hotkey for the action “Type Clipboard” and a few others. They don’t seem to work when I’m inside an RDP session; they only work when the main RDCM window is selected as active. I’m using the latest available RDCM version on macOS Tahoe 26.4. Thanks.

Hello the console from proxmox dashboard (vnc?) doesn't map the keyboard language of my mac. The same vnc session launched directly from web console work well. Any ideas? Thanks

Hello, I am using Remote Desktop Manager on Windows and macOS. On Windows, Website entries can open in isolated browser sessions, which works correctly for multi-tenant environments. On macOS, I cannot change the browser at all. In the Website entry settings, the Web browser field is disabled and shows: "Default (Always Safari in embedded mode)" Because of this, all Website entries share the same cookies and cache. Example: Customer A → admin.microsoft.com → login Customer B → admin.microsoft.com → login Both sessions share cookies I can see other customer accounts This makes RDM on macOS unusable for MSP scenarios. I also tried: Embedded browser External browser Different entries Clearing cache Private mode Different credentials Nothing works because macOS always uses Safari embedded mode. Question: Is this a limitation of the macOS version? Is there any way to use Chromium / Edge / external browser per entry? Is session isolation not supported on macOS? Hello, I have VMRC 12-0-5 from the App Store installed on my Mac. When I open a Server Console on a customers vSphere from the vCenter Webpage the VMRC Console opens and has a german keyboard layout. No I try to create the Session directly in RDM as "VMware Remote Console (VMRC)" to embed it into RDM: [image] Add the vCenter Web Address and the VM ID [image] That works great and embeds the session in RDM as I want this. The only thing and sorry, this is a blocking point: It has english Keyboard layout. Keyboard in the Server is set to "German": [image] How can I tell the RDM VMRC Session to use German Keyboard instead of english?

Currently generate a custom installer .msi that contains the datasource config and publish that to intune, looking into how to deploy Mac OS version is to package the normal installer with ~/Library/Application Support/RemoteDesktopManager.cfg from a configured machine. This file doesn't seem to be the correct config file as when i try on a fresh install and replace the file after installing i still get the datasorce setup wizard when i launch the application, please help point me in the right direction :)

Is it possible to use a YubiKey to connect to Microsoft servers with Remote Desktop Manager? From other forums it appears people use Devolutions RDM to do it but I can't seem to figure out how to configure it to function. From a Windows PC it works fine, when I connect to an RDP session my Smart Card Yubikey pops up and I put in my pin and I can connect. I can't get the same functionality to happen from the MAC. I am using RDM for MAC version 2022.3.15.3.

Hello Devolutions Support, I am trying to recover my Remote Desktop Manager (RDM) data after my previous computer was completely formatted. My main concern is retrieving the actual database content from Google Drive. Here is what I have observed: I can see several XML files in my Google Drive. I have checked AppDataFolder through the Google Drive API, but it appears to be empty. The XML files I found do not seem to contain the complete database content. My previous computer is no longer available. My main questions are: Is there any way to recover the full RDM database content from Google Drive if the previous PC has been formatted? Could RDM store database content in hidden or system folders in Google Drive that are not visible normally? I would greatly appreciate your guidance on how to recover as much data as possible. Hello Everyone, i have a strange behaviour going on for some weeks or even months. I am connecting to a certain host using RDM running on my Mac. The connection lags, drawing is slow. Then i am connecting to my virtual desktop from my Mac but using Microsoft Remote Desktop (Windows App). This virtual desktop runs Windows 11 and has RDM on it too. It is sitting on the same network as the target host. When i then connect to the same target host as i tried from my Mac, the connection is just fine and faster than connecting from my Mac directly. How is that even possible?

It seems there is no configurable hotkey for the ‘Type Clipboard’ action, and the only way to use it is by clicking it from the Actions ribbon menu?

Aloha, I've tried some of the different settings i can choose within RDM (Codec, Retina, RDP options) but i experience some noticable "lag" on some of my RDP targets. This means windows are behaving very slow, mouse point highlighting is not at point but behind and so on... Is this something i simply have accept running on a MAC or can this be fixed with some kind of best practice settings? My targets are mostly server 2019 and 2016

We recently moved from Windows to MacOS and to do so I imported my old SQLlite DB to Devolutions Hub Business. I have about 100 switches I manage through ssh and I get these warnings everytime I open any of them. [image] I click Resume and remember then get this [image] MacOS won't let me create a folder named .ssh so I'm not sure what to do here. Clicking Resume will get me into the sessions but when I need to open multiple at once, they get hung up on the warning. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am using RDM on MacOS, coming from Windows. Problem is, that SSH connections don't work. I get asked to confirm the fingerprint (twice for whatever reason) and get these messages, then the session closes immediately. [image] [image]

Ok, sorry, I am taking the MacOS-Version for a ride this week ;) - We are using Atera which starts external programs from within a web session. Before they start this Popup.. pops up.. - but not when running from within RDM: [image] Is this not supported? This is the standard "I want to start an external app" popup, nothing special (the same you get for instance when you start a telephony app when clicking on a tel:// URL)

Hi, New macbook pro m4 pro and having only one RDP connection opened, but for 3days, RDM is using 3.5GB of ram. Connection is opened to a LAN PC, and not even focused on the tab (using it for OTP codes mostly). Closing the RDP session does not free up the ram. Has anyone else noticed Remote Desktop Manager holding onto memory long after all sessions are closed? I'm seeing it sit at ~1.9 GB with 32 threads and zero active desktop connections. No sessions open, nothing connected — just the app sitting idle. Expected behavior would be for it to release most of that memory once sessions are disconnected, but it seems to just hang onto it indefinitely. Only fix is force-quitting and relaunching. Running on macOS. Anyone else experiencing this, or know of a setting/workaround to get it to clean up after itself?

coming from windows I am used to using edge with the profile path set to $username$ or $company_name$ to have different sessions available. How can I get the same in MacOS? [image]

I have KDE (6.3.4) remote desktop set up. I can connect to the Linux machine using RDP if I use the official Microsoft remote desktop client. If I try to connect using RDM (2025.1.13.3), I see these errors on the host. below. I tried changing a bunch of options for experience and display and stuff in advanced like codec level and rendering engine. It seems like none of the options make any difference because the log output is always the same. Am I missing anything? I'll also attach the RDM log. RDM version 2025.3.9.2 running on macOS tahoe 26.1 Hi Team, I have RDM to RDP (via RD Gateway) to 5 Windows servers. If one of servers got disconnected (unstable network or lost connection), the RDM hangs. Is it possible to avoid RDM hangs when losing connection to one of connected servers? Regards, Eric

I do not know if it is the Tahoe 26.2 upgrade or the RDM 2025.3.9.2 update as they were both updated at the same time. But with these update I can not longer connect to Microsoft Windows Server using RDP protocol. From an Terminal in MacOS, I can successfully do DNS lookups on from a local DNS server (I.E server.domain.local). I can also ping by DNS name from MacOS Terminal. I can also successfully connect to Microsoft Windows Servers using RDP with the Microsoft Windows App. This leads me to believe the issue is with RDM. When I use RDM to connect to server, the error I get is: Unable to connect to "server.domain.local" - DNS_Name_Not-Found. How do I roll back RDM version? Anyone else have this issue? Is there a solution for RDM version 2025.3.9.2 for the DNS_Name_Not_Founmd error?
