Notification when the Offline Cache will be deleted

Hi, a nice feature would be a setting for a notification that will be displayed before the offline cache will be deleted and no longer can be used. I think on an option to en- or disable the notification would be good. Maybe it is possible to adjust the time before the notification appears (4 hours, 8 hours, 1 day, 2 days for example..) Thanks! Best Regards, Min

SFTP Integration with Delinea Secret Server Proxy

Out Company is currently using the Delinea Proxy SSH and RDP sessions. It would be great to be able to also use SFTP via the Proxy in RDM.

Mouse Acceleration Cutoff

Currently mouse Acceleration is great but it causes the mouse to way too easily move with the smallest of touches on the screen. Can you please add a way to have mouse Acceleration not kick in until a certain threshold (preferably configurable) is reached. Something like either speed your finger moves or a minimum distance your finger need to slide to activate mouse Acceleration. For reference, Microsofts native Android rdp app does acceleration very well.

Backlog

Mouse move while mouse select active

This one was hard to come up with a proper title but what I'm hoping for is that when doing double tap mouse movements like scrolling a scroll bar after double tap and holding or when using double tap hold to select a bunch of files. It would be good if when your finger travels to the edge of the phone screen that the mouse automatically keeps moving in the direction your going. Currently you hit the edge of the screen and the mouse no longer moves.

Keyboard autocomplete

Would be helpful if keyboard autocomplete/autocorrect was present when using the keyboard within a session.

Documentation

Hi Devolution, I long searched for a replacement of my featured RDP app Parallels 2FX (legacy), tested a lot of alternatives and finally voted fro your very impressive and full-featured app RDM. But when I started to test it, I was overwhelmed with the different settings and the vast function even the Android version of RDM has. Frankly speaking, I couldn't see the wood for the trees and what are the different settings for - and I'm a long standing IT admin, knowing a lot of management systems and connection types :-) So I started to find some docs, user guides, how-tos for your RDM Android app. And found nothing few. There is a little, really short video, linked within the RDM Android app under "Video Tutorials", some hints here and there within different release notes and forum posts and a really huge user manual (more then 1300 pages, wow!) for the desktop version of RDM, which helped clarifying many - but not all - questions of mine. Some settings of RDM are self-explaining, some can be transformed from the similar desktop setting and some settings are nowhere described :-(. I know programmers hate to write docs, me too. But for an Android novice normal user, finding RDM within the Google store and starting with it, there is a lack of description of the Android version of RDM. Perhaps you can take your desktop user guide, add some descriptions for the Android version here and there, put a link in the description of the Google store and on your download site for the Android app on your homepage (like you did in for the desktop version) and implement a link to the user guide PDF within the "Help and Support" menu of the Android app (the current link "Online Help" isn't a really help link, it points more to a "What is RDM" page). And perhaps you can add an Android section section within your Knowledge Base of RDM, create a small FAQ or revive the Online Help section within the Devolutions forum, which is currently broken (the link to " https://helpandroid.remotedesktopmanager.com/ " doesn't resolve). A very impressed new user of RDM, still learning all of your features Markus

add the "after login" script feature

Hello everyone, A client has requested an enhancement to add support for the "after login" script feature, which is currently unavailable on the android version of rdm, Proposed Improvement: Adding support for the "after login" script feature on Android devices would allow users to automate tmux session connections in the same way as on the Windows version. Best regards,

Pen Support on Android Client

Hello! I'm using my android tablet with active stylus support to connect to ARD sessions on my Apple Silicon Mac. On other clients, I've used my pen in touchscreen mode to help navigation, however this doesn't seem to work in RDM. This is a very helpful feature that makes navigation much more seamless when using a phone/tablet to connect to remote desktop sessions. I'd like to request pen support for the RDM Android app such that: - Pen touches behave as finger touches along with long press and double tap gestures - Pen hover events allow the mouse to be moved on the remote machine without a touch event being registered, so that it can trigger mouse hover events on the remote machine (this second one is what really helps bring value over just using fingers in touchscreen mode) Please let me know if this is something that would be possible and something you find valuable. Appreciate your help!

Client certificate authentication mode on android

We have a DVLS behind a revery proxy that only lets connections pass if they have a valid client certificate. RDM on windows has a very useful feature for this in the data source configuration. [image] I would like to have access to the data source on my phone, but unfortunatly there is no such option on android. In the setting of the app, there is an option named "Certificates" with the description of "Manage the certificates that can be used by the app", but I still cannot connect to DVLS when I import my client certificate into there. Am I just using this feature wrong or is there currently no way to connect to a DVLS that requires a client-certificate?

Android app VNC connection View only needs improvement

[image] Dear Developer, VNC connections that have View Only (Input Ignored) mode active, in the Android application we were unable to activate and deactivate mode like in Windows, we need to go to the connection and edit the option, it was wonderful to work like Windows, when connected to VNC click on the button to activate and deactivate view only mode. Many thanks. Best regards, Xavier Soares

Android app - Icon Theme

Hi, Very small request. Please can you update the app so the Icon works with Android dynamic themeing. I can't place it on the home screen where app truly belongs as it breaks the look and feel 😂 Cheers Iain

Bring touch UX in line with MS app

I'm blown away by how responsive and smooth this app is compared to MS' own app. However, what keeps me from using it regularly is the fact that I: Can't simply drag things but have to do that double tap thing  Can't right click by long pressing but instead need to exit full screen to do that one-time-right-click trigger Need to switch to touch mode and full screen every time I connect to my machine. Alright, this is actually something I could live with but at the same time probably the easiest to resolve, since it should be trivial to have the app store this for future sessions? EDIT: Ouch, don't know what happened to the bullet points. They looked fine before submitting the post...

Auto close app when session ended

I've created a link on the Home Screen of a handheld Android scanner to start an RDP session and it works perfectly. But when the user logs off, he returns to the open Remote Desktop Manager app. And, as long as the application is not closed, the link on the Home Screen sets the focus back to the application instead of starting the RDP session. Is there a way to automatically close the Remote Desktop Manager app when stopping an RDP session, please?

Dynamic hostname/ports from web service like ngrok

I use ngrok (and other similar solutions) to expose my local server behind NAT over to the internet. The hostname and the port it allocates are dynamic. Can we have support for dynamic hostname/ports? As an example, The hostname/port can be obtained from some fixed web service like google app script or aws lambda. POST to https://script.google.com/macros/something/exec? with some auth and some POST data will return the hostname/port in the response body. Use that hostname+port for the SSH connection from RDM. I suggested the web service POST option because it will be more generic than hard-coded to ngrok or jprq.

Set default monitor

Most of our users have 2-3 monitors for their Chromebooks. When they launch a new connection (new or saved) it asks what monitor they would like. I would like to be able to set the monitor by default per saved connection or globally.

Ability to force using ipv4 or v6 or auto

When using a host name that resolves to both ipv4 and ipv6 IPs, it'd be nice to have an option to force using either v4 or v6 or default/current behavior to rotate through IPs.

Android TV – 4K resolution of remote session

Hello, After a few days of using your app via Samsung DeX (in 4K) I tried the same on Android TV (Chromecast 4) I briefly checked few months back. On Android TV, the UI of the system and all applications is rendered at maximum 1080p, and there are no devices I know of (not even adt3) that make use of Android 12's 4K UI. If I manually enforce 4K in any RDP client, the effect is always the same – blurry, unusable image. So far, I haven't found any way to bypass it – from ADB, wm size and dpi modification changed the UI dimensions and scaling, but not the real resolution. While some sysinfo apps reported 4K resolution then, there was no improvement: everything still looked like it was forcibly downscaled to 1080p and then upscaled back to 4K. VoD or game streaming applications (like GFN) probably use some special mode to display real 4K content, while I found no RDP client that can do the same (MS, Parallels, yours, a few others). Have you explored this problem already? For 1080p, RDM works just fine at first glance – thank you!
