I've created a link on the Home Screen of a handheld Android scanner to start an RDP session and it works perfectly. But when the user logs off, he returns to the open Remote Desktop Manager app. And, as long as the application is not closed, the link on the Home Screen sets the focus back to the application instead of starting the RDP session.
Is there a way to automatically close the Remote Desktop Manager app when stopping an RDP session, please?
Hello,
There is, to my knowledge, no such option in RDM Android.
I will move this to the RDM Android - Feature Request forum to have our engineers look into this.
Best regards,
Hi,
Using the link while the app is already open should normally open the session same as if the app was closed. We'll investigate and see if we can reproduce the bug you are experiencing.

Thank you, Benoit, Looking forward to your comment.
Hi,
I have found an issue when opening a shortcut while that session is already open, but not when it has been closed.
Could you confirm how the users logoff specifically? Do they use either the "Close" or "Logoff" option from the menu, or do they perform the logoff directly on the remote computer?
Thank you

Hello Benoît,
Thanks for your reply.
I've configured the RDM app to log off the user, when the session is closed without logging off, so it doesn't matter if the user 'Closes the session' or 'Logs off'. But my problem is not with the RDP session. So let me retry to explain what happens:
Thanks in advance for your comment.

Jan
