So your v2022.1.1.0 (or lower) version of Devolutions Localizer doesn't start. [image] This is to be expected. We have moved away from the Click-Once deployment and are now releasing the application via ( .msi/.exe ) unfortunately it wasn't possible to do a smooth seamless transition so you will need to do it manually. Hi! I noticed a small error in the DVLS "Manage encryption keys" KB article: https://docs.devolutions.net/server/kb/how-to-articles/manage-encryption-keys/ In the screenshot at the bottom, it says "Navigate to the App_Folder at the root of your Devolutions Server instance" This folder is called App_Data, so it should be something like "Navigate to the App_Data folder at the root of your Devolutions Server instance". I found the text in Msg Resources (RegenerateKeysRollbackInstructions) and fixed the German translation, but the original text, the screenshot, and probably other translations are still wrong. Good morning, I recently started collaborating on Italian translations and would like to ask for clarification: in November 2025, I entered some translations. I followed the guide and I think I submitted the translations correctly, and in fact I can see them in the localizer. Since I submitted them, several versions of RDM have been released, but I still don't see them applied. Do I need to do anything else to apply them, do they need to be reviewed, or will they be applied in future versions of RDM? Thank you! I am attaching an example: [image]

Could you provide import and export functionality for both the original text and the translated text? This would allow us to use other localization software to translate the text and then import it, as Devolutions Localizer is too weak in functionality compared to other professional localization tools.

Hi! When you edit an entry, the window title says "Edit <Entry type>", for example "Edit Username and password" or "Edit Website" [image] I don't know which translation entry this is, but it is simply translated as "Bearbeiten" in German, but putting that before the entry type is grammatically wrong. It should be "<Entry type> bearbeiten", not "Bearbeiten <Entry type>" [image] So I think this string should be changed to one with a placeholder for the type, so it can be translated correctly. I suspect there are many more instances in RDM, where strings are concatenated in code rather than placeholders in localized strings, so maybe you can fix many of those in one swoop. Thanks! Daniel

I've just installed latest version 2025.4.2.0 and noticed that my language (Serbian) is missing from the list of offered languages for translation. How can I fix this?

there's an entry "lblSpace" which is used in Keyboard Shortcuts to mean the space key. However, it is translated to German as "Bereich" which means a space like a room or a range, not the space key. Is lblSpace used somewhere in that context? It would need its own differently translated entry then. I changed it to "Leertaste" which means space key.

Hi! I just noticed the message when you use a new RDM version to connect to an outdated DVLS server: "The Devolutions Server version ({0}) and Remote Desktop Manager version ({1}) are mismatched." It used to say that due to that mismatch, the datasource is in read-only mode, but that is no longer the case. However, in the German translation it still said the datasource is in read-only mode, so I was confused when I was still able to edit entries. [image] I fixed the German translation but the error might still be there in other languages. Can someone check and fix? Hi! Just a small thing I noticed. When you right click an empty folder, the menu says "Delete Folder...", but in German it says "Ordner löschen......" The ellipses don't seem to be part of the text I can translate in Localizer [image]

Hi In MsgResources - AADErrorMultipleIdentitiesAvailable The original text is "Multiple user identities are available and select account is not available in silent signin scenario." Should that have been "Multiple user identities are available and selected account is not available in silent signin scenario." Or is there some context I'm missing here? What is your preferred process if I find other (for me) wired original texts? (I'm translating to Danish) /Anders

Hi! I noticed the names of these entry types changed at some point: "Website" became "Website (legacy)" and "Web browser (http / https)" became "Website" Is that correct? Specifically in the German translation, they are still referred to by their old names. Also "Website" is often (not always) translated as "Webseite" which is in fact a wrong translation. "Webseite" is a web page, not a website. The word Website also exists in German, so I would just use that. Is is OK for me to change these? Regards, Daniel

Hi Just started contributing to the Danish translation (a long way to go!). I have questions about the different status an entry can have. Could you please confirm or correct me about these? New = Not yet translated Translated = Have been translated Changed = Devolutions have changed something about the original text and a local translator should check and correct the localized translation? Under review = If a translation might be wrong and needs attention. Who sets this to Under review and who will review? Does Devolutions have anything to do with this status or is it simply for the convince of the local translators to mark something for review with another translator? Use original = Something that should not be translated, like a product name or reference in a 3rd party system that should not be changed in translation? Could a description of the different statuses be added to the help page ?

There's an entry in UIResources.resx named "lblLocation" which has the text "Location" in English. This is used in the Options dialog under User Interface / Filter [image] The current German translation is "Speicherort", which doesn't make sense here. (that would be a storage location). A better one would be the German "Position" or "Anzeigeort". If I recall correctly I have changed this in the past, but it has been changed back since. Is lblLocation used somewhere else where it would be correctly translated as a storage location? The word "Ort" would describe both a position in the UI and a storage location, but I think it should be split into two entries. regards Daniel

Hi, I found some wrong/Irritating translations which should be reviewed for a change: Asset-Section in any entry: Tab Asset "Site" is translated to "Seite", which means "Page". The correct Translation should be "Standort" (=> Site, Location) Tab Hardware "Socket count" is translated to "Socket Anzahl", which is ok, but while we're at it, a better translation would be "Anzahl Sockel" "Socket type" is also fine, but I'd rather go with just "Sockel" or "Sockeltyp" "Memory" is translated to "Speicher" (=> Storage), better would be "Arbeitsspeicher" since we're referring to RAM "Asset Tag" is translated to "Asset Schlüsselwort", but it should stay as "Asset Tag" Tab Contact "Prefix -> "Präfix" is kinda fine, better would be "Anrede" "State" -> "Status" is wrong. Better would be "Staat / Bundesland" or if thats too long, just "Staat" Tab Purchase Purchase->Ankauf (Tab Header and Group title) sounds kinda wrong While Ankauf may be also the correct translation, for me "Ankauf" is more to process of buying, but maybe thats just me. But I also don't really like the usage of "Purchase" at all. I'd suggest "Purchase info", which then could be translated to "Kaufinfo" or "Kaufinformation" Vendor -> Hersteller(=>Manufacturer) is wrong. I'd recommend "Lieferant" or "Anbieter" (both mean vendor, supplier, provider) Please let me know what you'd think of these adjustments! Best regards, Christopher

Almost there Translation into swedish is currently 80% completed. But I don't think I will be ready until Christmas. Would you like to participate? Hello! I have downloaded Devolutions Localizer and have created an Account at devolutions.net but when I run the localizer app and try to log in it reports "wrong username or password" and nothing else. Any tips?
