Hi!
Is there still a translation tool I can use to submit new translations?
From time to time I stumble upon mistakes in the German translation that I could fix.
Thanks!
Daniel

Hello Daniel,
it's still the Devolutions Localizer ;)

Min
Thanks!
When I try to install it I get a security error
Translation: Your administrator has blocked this application because it potentially poses a security risk to your computer. [...] Your security settings do not allow this application to be installed on your computer.
Do you have a quick fix for this?
On which OS do you encounter this issue? Which .Net Framework is installed?
Could you try this?

Min
Windows 10 1903, so .NET 4.8 should be included. I have some components from .NET 4.5 that came with SQL Server Management Studio I think
I fixed it by setting the following Registry values as shown here: https://superuser.com/questions/1252575/unable-to-install-clickonce-application-due-to-security-settings-windows-10Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\Security\TrustManager\PromptingLevel]"MyComputer"="Enabled""LocalIntranet"="Enabled""Internet"="Enabled""TrustedSites"="Enabled"
Perfect, thanks for your feedback - so the solution was the same as in my link - just the source is another one ;) :cool:

Min

I want to create a translation into Ukrainian, maybe partial, depending on whether someone will help.
@wolf1,
It seems that you are already translating RDM into ukrainian as per what we can see in the Localizer application.
What is your post refering to? Which help do you need exactly?
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Good morning! Sorry for the Google translation. So thanks for the answer I asked this question before I found a wonderful localization tool.
Now I have a question, can I see in my copy of the program what I translated? Is it possible for me to see when I translate the whole interface? Where should the translation or dll files with the translation appear?
@wolf1,
When in the dashboard of Devolutions Localizer go to Deploy > Generate & Start (you may need to configure the deploy settings). This will create the translation files (.dll) and start RDM. You will need to choose Ukranian (uk) in RDM File > Options > User Interface > Language.
Once the translation of Ukranian (uk) completed (or almost) we will include it as an official supported language within the official RDM builds.

Stéfane Lavergne
e I would like to clarify that not Ukrainian (UK) is a mistake in my opinion, Ukrainian abbreviated (UA) not England
among other things I thought I was translating only Wayk :-)? if it is possible, then tell me how?
@wolf1,
For the Wayk specific translation I will get back to you. I must check with the Wayk team.
As for uk (this is the 2-letter ISO code defined by link) vs uk-UA or ru-UA.
We generally only translate the neutral culture for any given language instead of each specific culture. For example, French (fr) has 47 culture specific variations so we only translate fr not (fr-CA, fr-FR, fr-MC...).
For Ukrainian we have (uk) and not uk-UA or ru-UA. Does this work for you?
A neutral culture is specified by only the two-letter lowercase language code. For example, fr specifies the neutral culture for French, and de specifies the neutral culture for German.

ok I understood, these are the features of Google translation, it takes the courage to decide ua or uk
Hi,
For Wayk Now, you can find the latest translation files in our CDN:
https://cdn.devolutions.net/download/Wayk/2020.2.1.0/WaykNow-x64-2020.2.1.0.zip
Inside the .zip file for the latest release, you will find the translation files here:
resources/i18n/en.json
You can follow instructions from this post to load your modified translation in Wayk:
https://forum.devolutions.net/topics/33053/other-languages#135981
Once you have a translated file, you can either post it in the Wayk forum, or send it to us at wayk@devolutions.net and we'll include it in the next release.
Best regards,
Marc-André Moreau
so uk-UA will be enough, and I think it will suit everyone
