Hi y'all, it would be awesome if you could integrate VcXsrv (actively maintained X11 server for Windows / Releases · marchaesen/vcxsrv ) directly into Devolutions RDM Windows version so that one doesn´t have to install the software and start it before using X11 forwarding. Our client systems are quite looked down and the users are not able to install anything else that is not available in our software deployment store. RDM is actually available in the software deployment store. VcXsrv is also able to start wireshark from the X11 forwarded server, while xming throws an error " X server does not support XInput 2".

We work with many business applications supported by a variety of external vendors. These vendors occasionally need remote access to provide technical support. However, the current monthly user‑subscription model is not an effective fit for support contractors for a couple reasons: • Most contractors would only use Devolutions Workspace or Remote Access once or twice per year, typically during troubleshooting or upgrade activities. In some cases, for certain vendors/contractors, access is not needed at all in a year. • For security and auditing purposes, we maintain named accounts for each contractor. A single vendor may have 10 or more individual contractor accounts as part of their support team, even though only one contractor provides support at any given time. Because of this, maintaining long‑term monthly subscriptions for 100+ rarely used accounts is not cost‑effective and more users than our actual IT team. A limited pooled or concurrent‑use licensing model—where licenses can be checked out automatically as needed—would be far more practical and aligned with our usage patterns. While we could manually assign and remove licenses to vendor users before each support session as a workaround, this becomes inefficient at scale, especially when managing hundreds of vendor accounts or handling urgent support situations. We are open to alternative solutions that would better accommodate these infrequent and unpredictable vendor access requirements. Thank you.

We use Beyond Trust to checkout a password every x hours. Everyday I need to update the multiple credentials that use the Beyond Trust password. I am looking for a solution to either: Scenario #1 Create a credential that contains the password only The other credentials would link to the password only credential Scenario #2 Create a credential that contains the username only Create a credential that contains the password only The RDP/SSH sessions would be able to select the individual username and password credentials. To complicate the matters, I had to create multiple RDP files, I am using the free version, is there anyway to link the credentials across all of the RDM files, currently I need to update the credentials in each file? Par exemple : On les selectionne > on fait modification par lot > permission > on ajoute/supprime la permission voulu. Avec une option pour que cela n'impacte que les dossiers et/ou les entrées.

When pasting from clipboard, RMB or win+V, doesn't matter, sometimes text surrounded with extra symbol. I know that an old problem, not related only with RDM and could be fixed directly on host. But maybe you can fix it globally. ^[[200~ * ~

Hello. In RDM, SSH error messages are not displayed. This makes it complicated to troubleshoot connectivity issues. Sometimes we get this: [image] And from our jump host (linux VM) we get this error message. [image] I'm not saying it's the same, but it probably is. SSH error messages sent by the SSH server are usually detailed and helpful. It would be nice to get the error messages sent by the SSH server. Best regards. Marcel

It is (also) called CyberArk Workforce Password manager (WPM) Enterprise Workforce Password Management | CyberArk It would be ideal if a Credential connection of type WPM (CyberArk WPM) can be added to use that as a credential source for personal passwords. Hi, Team Thank you to create such good production. Here is one area maybe you can make this product better: We could have macro button on terminal, but it has text context after each button, it takes quite some space, is possible change to only show button, the text will fly out when user click on it. It will save space and make GUI more clean and simple. Hello, I have noticed a strange behavior, which doesn't seem normal, and is not user friendly. In the following panel, which I have set to auto-hide, whenever I click on one of the "Close" icon on the right, the whole panel disappears, which makes it more difficult to close another tab right away. I then need to move the mouse again to "Tab list" on the left to get the panel back and then I can close another one. [image] In my experience, having used side panels in other apps, it shouldn't disappear unless the mouse either move away from the panel, or if a click happens outside the panel. But clicking anywhere in the panel, shouldn't make it disappear. Is it something you can fix/enhance ? This would be great and more consistent. Thank you

In the Favorites section, we're missing the column name and the possibility "column chooser". Would make the daily work much more easier when you have a lot of favorites and you're primarly working with it. This was always available but since Version 2026.2.x it's completely missing. [image]

Hi, I love the Entra ID dashboard and would love to use it to access our customers tenants. We have access to our customers tenants through GDAP and it would be fantastic if we could create users, groups and assign licenses through the Entra ID dashboard. We access all customers with the same user (like user@contoso.com) and that user has access to several tenants. So we would need some option to select or type in the specific tenant ID we would like to manage. This would be a great feature for us! [image]

this happens especially on SSH sessions. But if I have a session UNdocked, that's exactly because I want Windows to manage the behavior. So I think that undocked sessions must not cause RDM to take focus when you close them (like, for example, typing 'exit' on bash/SSH).

Hello, I’ve just noticed that the Parallels add-on has been removed starting from RDM 2026.2.5.0 , and it’s no longer available in recent versions (currently running 2026.2.7.0). In our setup, some connections relied on this integration, and since the update: the add-on is gone existing connections are no longer working Support confirmed that the only option for now is to roll back to 2026.1.x , but that’s obviously not a viable long-term solution. 👉 So I’m wondering: Has anyone found a clean alternative to manage Parallels connections? Is there a recommended new approach in RDM for this type of use case? Are there any plans to reintroduce or replace this functionality? Thanks in advance for your feedback 👍

Ever since we are using devolutions gateway. everything which connects through gateway gets it's tab icon replaced to a bird. [image] I'd like a feature to get back the old behaviour, and that is that it will inherit it's configured icon. For instance, this object has this icon configured: [image] Sometimes we have multiple connections to the same machine. Web, SSH, RDP to one machine, results in 3 connections with all a bird icon. Now we cannot see instantly, which connection is which connection. From an end user perspective, and anduser isn't even aware if and why and where we use devolutions gateways. Endusers don't need to know if they're connected through gateway :)

We would like to request an enhancement to the Tools functionality to allow individual tools to be executed using privileged accounts from CyberArk and ideally any PAM solution. We have already discussed this topic in the following thread: https://forum.devolutions.net/topics/41215/rdp-secret-macro--remote-tools--tool-credential#236502 Use case: In Remote Desktop Manager (RDM), we configure an RDP session. From the Macros / Scripts / Tools tab, we want to launch built-in tools such as Computer Management , Event Viewer , or Services against a remote server. In the RDP session properties under Management Tools → Tools , we can select either My Privileged Account or a CyberArk PVWA entry. However, when launching any tool from this section, it does work with CyberArk privileged account. We have also confirmed with Devolutions Support that this functionality is currently not supported. Expected behavior: When a privileged account (e.g., CyberArk PVWA) is configured in Management Tools → Tools , all tools launched from the Macros / Tools / Scripts tab should run under that CyberArk privileged account. This would allow administrators to launch remote tools (Computer Management, Event Viewer, Services, etc.) without opening a full RDP session and while securely using privileged credentials managed by CyberArk (or other PAM solutions) This improvement would significantly streamline daily administrative tasks and enhance secure privileged access workflows.

Hello, I would like to request support for displaying and using OTP / 2FA codes from Hudu entries inside Remote Desktop Manager. Current behavior: The integration between Hudu and Remote Desktop Manager works for usernames and passwords without any issues. Credentials stored in Hudu are correctly shown and can be used in RDM. However, if an entry in Hudu has a One-Time Password (OTP / TOTP / 2FA) configured, the generated code is not visible in Remote Desktop Manager. Only username and password are available. Use case: Many of our customer credentials in Hudu also contain OTP secrets. When connecting through RDM, we still have to open Hudu separately to read the 2FA code, which reduces the benefit of the integration. Requested feature: Please add support for reading and displaying OTP / 2FA / TOTP codes from Hudu entries inside Remote Desktop Manager, similar to how passwords are currently handled. Optional improvements: Show OTP code in credential view Allow copy / auto-fill of OTP Refresh OTP automatically Support TOTP standard used by Hudu This would greatly improve the Hudu integration for environments where MFA is required. Posting on behalf of aguzzi. is it possible in Remote Desktop Manager - VNC entires - I like the undocked feature....but can I open multiple computers, and have them open tabbed in the undocked window? maybe select a bunch at once, and have them all open in one window tabbed?

In SSH key agent, please change the "Mode" combo into checkboxes - so the added keys are available in both agents in both modes simultaneously if required. For example Git works best with OpenSSH agent, but I sometimes use Putty command line tools as well. Now it's quite an effort to make it all work properly. Having this feature in RDM would be a great addition. Thanks in advance! [image]

Hello Devolutions Team, I would like to submit a feature request regarding the CyberArk integration in Remote Desktop Manager. Context : In our environment, we need to use CyberArk PVWA entries in RDM to bind accounts to connections. However, this approach has an important limitation: Binding a CyberArk account via a PVWA credential entry : Works well for RDP (PSM-based sessions) But it does not fully support other use cases, particularly: Web connectors (non-HTML5) Other connection types requiring structured credential binding As a result, we are forced to rely on PVWA entry configuration for binding, which is not flexible enough to cover all connection scenarios. At the same time, the CyberArk Dashboard provides a much better experience for browsing and selecting accounts—but it cannot be used today to persistently bind credentials to entries. Problem : There is currently no unified way in RDM to: Select a CyberArk account Bind it to an entry Reuse it consistently across all connection types (RDP, Web, others) This creates a split usage model: PVWA entries for binding (limited) Dashboard for browsing (non-persistent) Feature Request : We would like to see the CyberArk Dashboard enhanced to support full credential binding capabilities , so it becomes the single interface for all use cases. Key idea : Allow selecting a CyberArk account from the Dashboard and binding it directly to RDM entries , regardless of connection type. Suggested UX : From an entry or folder (primary use case) Right-click on an entry (or folder) Select: “Select credentials from CyberArk Dashboard” This would: Open the CyberArk Dashboard selector Allow choosing an account Automatically bind it as a PVWA-linked credential Bulk support (important) : If applied to a folder , the binding would: Apply to all child entries Enable large-scale updates Expected Outcome : Remove dependency on PVWA entry configuration for binding Enable consistent credential usage across: RDP (PSM) Web connectors (including non-HTML5 scenarios) Other connection types Make the CyberArk Dashboard the central interface for both discovery and binding Benefits : Unified workflow (discover → bind → use) Better support for real-world CyberArk usage Reduced manual configuration effort, and manual account selection Improved efficiency when managing multiple entries Better alignment with environments not relying on HTML5 Please find attached a screenshot illustrating how credential binding is currently performed manually through PVWA entries : Thank you !
