Hi, When I reboot a computer, I will get a screen that has options for Connect, Connect when Available, and something else. I love the When Available button, but it could be enhanced to make it work better. My normal usage is 1) Reboot the server. 2) Wait a couple seconds. 3) Click Connect when available. When I do this, RDM will attempt to ping the server. Once it is successful, it tries to connect. The problem is that just because the server is pingable, doesn't mean it's RDP'able. Most of the time, the server is up far enough to respond to a ping, but not up far enough to actually be remoted into. This means the RDP connection fails and I'm back at the screen with the same buttons as above. What I'd love to see is after RDM is able to ping the server and tries to connect, it the connection fails, it should wait a few seconds and repeat the process. It should then keep doing that until it either Connects or I click Cancel. That way it would be a lot easier for me to not have to keep clicking Connect when available over and over until it actually is available. Thanks.

These Improvements have been suggested by a customer: Issues with the "Submit a support ticket" dialog window: First issue: it should not be a dialog but and independent window, so that it doesn't block working with RDM during writing the bug report - I need to use menus, options etc. to check things I need to report. Second issue: it should allow submitting screenshots (annotated), e.g. pasting them using CTRL+V or select files from disk. Pasting them like I do here by uploading to cloud drive is very secure for me, but consumes a lot of time.

The current Remote Monitoring option under an SSH entry's Terminal > Advanced settings are quite limited compared to similar features in other terminal tools (e.g. MobaXTerm's status bar). It would be great to see the monitoring bar expanded to include: OS / hostname CPU % (ideally with a small live graph, not just a number) Memory: available / total Network: upload and download throughput System uptime Logged-in username Disk/partition usage % per mount point This would make RDM's SSH sessions much more useful for day-to-day sysadmin work, where at-a-glance system health is a big part of the value of having a terminal open. This would be a huge gain of time for me and my team if there was a way to fill-in a "reason" for credentials gathering from CyberArk in each RDP connection object. This way, the double-clic would not end up into this window asking for the reason, but directly end-up in the RDP session in best times. Thanks for considering this!

We are evaluating Remote Desktop Manager / Devolutions PAM as part of a Privileged Access Management project. A key requirement on our side is integrating privileged access events with an external automation/orchestration platform, specifically n8n. Feature request: Support for outbound webhooks that notify an external system (such as n8n) when: - a session starts or ends - an access request changes status (e.g. approved, expired, revoked) - a credential is checked out or checked in Currently this appears to require polling the REST API rather than receiving a push notification, which is significantly less efficient and less reliable for near-real-time use cases. It would also be helpful to know whether: - there is any existing documentation or reference architecture for integrating RDM/PAM with low-code automation tools like n8n - authentication for such an external integration can be scoped to least privilege (specific actions/accounts only, rather than full administrative API access) Happy to provide more detail on our use case if useful.

We are implementing Okta for connecting to systems via RDP and SSH. However, I don't see a way to incorporate Okta vault credentials into our sessions. Is this something that exists and if not, could it be added similar to how the other vault solutions like Hashicorp or CyberArk? Okta vault is our current solution for credential management.

Hi, I send this feature request as part of our ongoing evaluation of a potential migration to Devolutions Server, and the ability to manage credentials programmatically is an important aspect of this evaluation. I would like to request support for linking an AWS Dashboard entry to a separate Credential object, similar to how Web and RDP entries currently work. For Web and RDP entries, there is a Credential field in the Properties where I can select a separate Username/Password Credential object. The Credential object can also be manipulated through the REST API, which makes it possible to integrate credential management into external automation and workflows. However, the AWS Dashboard entry does not currently expose a Credential field or any option to reference a separate credential object. Instead, the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key have to be configured directly in the AWS Dashboard entry. I understand that AWS authentication is different from the generic Username/Password model. What would be particularly useful is having an AWS-specific Credential object (containing Access Key ID and Secret Access Key values) that could be linked to the AWS Dashboard entry and managed through the REST API. Ideally, the AWS Dashboard would support: A dedicated AWS Credential object containing the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key A Credential field in the AWS Dashboard entry to reference that object Management of that Credential object through the REST API The switch to REST API is especially important for our use case, as it would allow AWS credentials to be managed easily and faster rather than having to modify the AWS Dashboard entries using the PowerShell module. The support team confirmed that this functionality is currently not planned for upcoming releases and recommended submitting it here as a feature request. I believe this would be a valuable addition, particularly for environments where credential management needs to be integrated with external automation and API-based workflows. Thanks!

Hello, I'm running on version 2026.1.24 in RDM, and I'm not able to add the variable of "Advance Search -> Multivault -> by $HOST$. On previous version that was available and very useful if you don't have the IP on the name structure of the entry, or similar. Now if i have all my entries with IP in $HOST$ i can not search it. [image] I open a chat with support and they confirmed that is not present on the next extended or the latest. Please let me know Thanks in advance Nicolas

Hi, as I have most of my passwords in Keeper I was excited to see that there is an integration between RDM and Keeper. However as my Keeper is secured using my U2F key (Yubico) I'd like to use that as well. There only seems to be support for using TOTP from Google Authenticator (or similar) Thanks.

RDM is by far and away the best RDP tool and would not use anything else. Period. That being said... we have a large deployment of countless machines at remote sites that are all connected via ScreenConnect... but SC itself leaves a LOT a room for basic necessities... no tabs, the UI is horrible... I could go on and ot.... sure you can add a Screen Connect client in RDM by adding the URL and simply adding /join at the end of the URL... but it stil of course launches in the SC tool and there is no way to force it into a RDM tab... so... RDM needs to bring back native SC connectivity or someway to put the SC tool within RDM tabs... not having tabs for SC clients is driving me abs bonkers and making things take waaaaaaaaaay longer than it should simply because there are no tabs... so... I am BEGGING you to please add SC compatibility back to RDM... figure it out, somehow some way... Cant afford to take no for an answer. This has been asked for many times over many years to bring this back... so please... lets make this happen. It's needed...badly.

Add native Passkey (WebAuthn) redirection support within the embedded browser session window (specifically for Edge/Chrome engines). This will allow MSPs and enterprise administrators to leverage the Private Mode (Tenant Isolation) feature while simultaneously adhering to Microsoft’s mandatory phishing-resistant MFA requirements (such as Entra Admin Center passkey logins). Currently, Remote Desktop Manager (RDM) handles multi-tenant isolation beautifully via Private Mode in embedded browser entries. However, as Microsoft aggressively pushes phishing-resistant authentication—making passkeys mandatory for Entra admin center access—administrators hit a wall. When trying to authenticate using a passkey inside an embedded browser tab, the WebAuthn API call fails or is unable to use the added passkey from the DVLS safe. To work around this, we are forced to open sessions in an External Browser . While this fixes authentication, it completely breaks the tenant isolation benefits of Private Mode and clutters the local machine with multiple browser profiles. As an MSP, we need to open lots of Microsoft Admin Centres at the same time.. It is therefore necessary to have a central overview, with each entry opening in the embedded browser. We need the embedded browser component in RDM to natively support integrated passkeys in the DVLS safe. Seamless MFA: When a website inside an embedded tab requests a passkey, RDM should trigger the integrated passkey. Best of Both Worlds: Keep the excellent session isolation provided by Private Mode and allow administrators to log in using modern passkeys securely. Why This Matters Mandatory Microsoft Requirements: Microsoft is steadily rolling out mandatory phishing-resistant MFA for all admin portals. This isn't a "nice-to-have" anymore; it is becoming a hard blocker for daily administration. Crucial for MSPs: Managing dozens of Entra tenants requires strict isolation to prevent accidental cross-tenant data leaks or session bleeding. Productivity: Switching back and forth between embedded and external browsers breaks the unified "single pane of glass" workflow that makes RDM so powerful.

Hi, would it be possible to allow to use mouse wheel to scroll tabs left and right ? Like in Notepad++ for instance. On this example: placing the mouse on 1 tab (without clicking) and scrolling the wheel Up would slide the tabs to the left, to access the first tabs. And moving the wheel Down would slide the tabs to the right, to access the tabs to the end. [image] Currently, when there are several tabs opened, it is not practical to access the first tabs, or the last. You could click on the little arrow at the right end, but the connections are sorted by name, so it is hard to identify recognize the order and find the first or last for instance. I know you can display the tabs on multiple rows, but then you lose a lot of space. Ideally, using the mouse wheel to slide to the left or right would be really helpful. Note: it would not switch to the previous or next tabs, it would only scroll the tabs list without changing the current connection. Thank you

I did an update to the newest version. But I noticed now that the UI, everything is a lot bigger. Below is a screenshot of the previous version. With this increase, I have less pixels available in my remote session. Is it possible to revert this? Or to have a setting "compact ui"? I already use the simplified ribbon to have it as small as possible. But this version increased the height a lot. [image]

This value is set at 10 seconds by default. That is WAY too short. I want to set it to 90 seconds for all users but it seems that is not possible using group policy.

Currently, each user's "Database Language" setting (Administration → Users) defaults to the language RDM detects from that user's Windows Regional Settings. There is no way for an administrator to centrally force this setting to a specific language (e.g., English) across all users in the data source. Use case: Organizations with users across multiple locales want a consistent language (typically English) for shared/administrative purposes, regardless of each user's individual OS regional settings. Today this requires manually changing the Database Language setting per user, which doesn't scale and gets reset per-user based on OS locale. Requested behavior: Add an admin-level control (e.g., in Data Source / Administration settings) to set a default or enforced Database Language value that applies to all users, overriding the per-user Windows Regional Settings detection.

Hello, I would like to request an option in the embedded terminal to render bold text using an actual bold font weight, the way PuTTY does. Current behaviour: the Bold Mode setting offers "Change font", "Change colour" and "Change font and colour", but even with "Change font and colour" selected the glyphs are not rendered with a real bold weight. In practice bold text is only distinguished by the bold colour variants of the palette. Changing Font quality does not help, and the same happens with fonts that ship a proper bold face (Consolas, Cascadia Mono, JetBrains Mono). Why it matters: bold is used heavily by real-world tooling - ls output, man pages, vim and other TUIs, prompts, log highlighting. Losing the weight distinction makes long terminal sessions noticeably harder to read. Request: when Bold Mode includes "Change font", please load and render the bold face of the selected font family, falling back to synthetic emboldening only if no bold face exists. Context: this used to work correctly when PuTTY was available as an external engine. With the PuTTY entry type now removed, the embedded terminal is the only option, so this gap has become more visible. Thank you. Marco Trapanese

Product: Remote Desktop Manager (Windows), version 2026.3.8.0 64 bit (PreJIT) Session type: Telnet, embedded (tabbed) Server: DEC Ultrix 4.5 (VAX) telnetd Problem Login through the RDM Telnet session always fails, or hangs, on Ultrix telnetd. The same server works fine from PuTTY in Telnet mode. What a packet capture shows - RDM proposes IAC WILL BINARY and IAC DO BINARY, and the server accepts both. - With "Return key sends a new line instead of a carriage return" ticked, Enter is sent as CR LF (0d 0a). With it unticked, Enter is sent as a bare CR (0d). - A bare CR leaves login stuck after the username: no Password: prompt. - CR LF reaches the Password: prompt, but login then reports "Login incorrect" with the correct password. Analysis Once BINARY is active, BSD-derived telnetd (including Ultrix) turns off CR/LF translation. The CR in CR LF then stays inside the line, so login receives "username<CR>" and "password<CR>" instead of the clean strings. The server also stops adding CRs on output. This is consistent with what the capture shows. I have not found an option to turn off BINARY, or to send LF only for Enter. Remapping Enter to another CTRL-J in the Keyboard tab had no effect on the bytes sent. Requests 1. A per-entry option to disable telnet BINARY negotiation (or make it opt-in). 2. Or an Enter-key option to send LF only, or CR NUL, that is honoured for keyboard input and for the autologin (User/Password prompt string) feature. 3. Ensure the Keyboard tab key map is applied to Enter in Telnet sessions.

At the moment when a credential entry is moved to another Vault, it gets a new ID and all references where it was used in other entries are no longer working. It would be great if when credential entries are moved, they keep their IDs and are still connected to any entries they were used in the source Vault. At the moment, they lose thwir connection and the entries can's use the credentials anymore, but you don't see it on the entry until you try to use or edit it. (Then is a pop-up the credentials have been deleted)
