Windows always in foreground and title bar with buttons to minimize, maximise + close gone missing
I switched to KDE. That fixed the Windows issues for me.
RDM Application Window - Increase Display Size/Scale (Win11)
I am fighting with the same problem on Linux. Unfortunately the Tree View, Font Size option is not available here.
Using GDK_SCALE=1.5 I can increase the size of everything, but the content in the Dashboard : Overview, Documentation and ssh sessions. Those remains several sizes smaller than the rest.

No, the original issue is not resolved. Apparently you are on the way to resolve it, because the window can now be maximised and minimized. This I can confirm.
If you use Windows you might be used to beeing able to change the size of a window other than maximizing and minimizing. This is still not possible. No idea why RDM must be used as maximized, I have a large monitor and would prefer to use it for other things as well.
The title bar with buttons to minimize, maximise + close is still not visible. RDM is the only application behaving this way on my Linux desktop.
Windows always in foreground and title bar with buttons to minimize, maximise + close gone missing
I waited for the SQL Server upgrade. Today I finally had the chance to install Version 2025.3.2.3 64-bit: The window can now be Maximised and Minimized. This is great progress.
Maybe some day Remote Desktop Manager can also be Resized and Moved and F11 will have an effect. Currently that is not the case on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.
Windows always in foreground and title bar with buttons to minimize, maximise + close gone missing
I noticed F11 is the default shortcut for advanced search. I can disable it in settings, and it tells me "Changes will only be applied after an application restart". Well, after the restart the shortcut is again on F11. So I can not even disable the shortcut. Any way to report his bug?
But I can change it to something else. This gets stored and is visible in the preferences after restart. Though it does not work (I chose Super-A for advanced search).
F11, which should not be captured by advanced search now, has no effect at all on this window.
Did I mention that the performance is terribly slow? That is why I thought F11 has no effect, the Advanced Search window only appeared after I wrote the previous message.
Windows always in foreground and title bar with buttons to minimize, maximise + close gone missing
Yes I know that the window is in full screen. I can use F11 to toggle all other windows from fullsreen to a movable smaller size.
But I can not toggle the RDM window using the same shortcut key working for all the other windows. F11 has no effect on it. Just RDM behaves differently.
Windows always in foreground and title bar with buttons to minimize, maximise + close gone missing
The RDM window is maximized to fill the monitor even over the panel which I usually have at the bottom.
The editor window can be resized like all other windows.
Difference: You see the name of the application in the center of the title bar and the 3 buttons on the right in the Editor screenshot. These are all missing for RDM window.
Also the title bar offers right click functionality, like move to another workspace. As there is no title bar for RDM the right click functionality is not present.
Windows always in foreground and title bar with buttons to minimize, maximise + close gone missing
After upgrading from 2024.x to 2025.2.4 the windows title bar (above File|Home|Edit|...) with the buttons to minimize, maximise + close is gone missing.
I used to right click it to move to another workspace. The shortcut ALT-Space is a workaround for that.
What is even more a showstopper is, that the window can not be moved into the background anymore. It always occupies a full monitor (as it can not be resized neither).
My OS is Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.
Adding entries into RDM using a script on linux?
The passwords are generated using a script and are used by Ansible for various deployments.
Can you suggest a cross-platform password-store which can be used as an intermediate data source (write to it on Linux and read from it on Windows) to import the content into RDM using PowerShell?
Adding entries into RDM using a script on linux?
Is it possible to add entries into RDM using a script on linux?
I have 2 requirements, on is just username, password and the other hostname, username, password. Both should go into a specific folder (and be later visible for our Windows users). I did find the Powershell instructions, but nothing on using the commandline or a shell script.
PS: I am running RDM 2020.3.1.0 fine on Ubuntu 20.04 Mate.
