Favicon for http/https connections

Hello

Because I'm simply loving Remotedesktopmanager, I'm using it as a bookmark manager too.
Could you please add a function to use the favicon of a webpage for it's link? I'm thinking of a button (???) to click which starts a search for the webpages favicon and storing it inside the database.

What do you think about it?

Many thanks
René

Hi,
It's a good idea, I added a feature request for that.

great idea, i recognized this has been implemented already (using 6.1.3.0 now).
but how does it work? most websites i tried didn't work, even those, which had a favicon.ico in the root directory and published like this: <link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/x-icon" href="favicon.ico" />
an example that works:
http://www.wikipedia.org/
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/favicon.ico" />

does it have to be a complete URL in the above statement? maybe possible to add more intelligence to that mechanism?

kind regards
chris
