I'm currently using Remote Desktop Manager 2026.3.2.2 on macOS 27, and I've encountered a problem since a recent update.
Whenever I move my cursor over any interactive element in RDM, such as buttons, links, tabs, or the navigation pane, the application immediately takes focus. As a result, the window I'm actively working in gets pushed behind RDM.
This is particularly frustrating when a small portion of the RDM window is visible behind another application and simply moving the cursor across that area causes RDM to become the active window.
I've gone through the available settings and tried every combination I could find, but I haven't been able to identify an option that changes this behavior.
Is this expected behavior, a known issue, or is there a setting that can disable focus-on-hover?
Hello,
Yes, this is a known issue related to the partial rewrite of our UI system. We expect it to be fixed in the next major update, currently planned for December. I’m sorry for the inconvenience and that we can’t get this fix to you sooner.
Best regards,
Maxim Buisson

Great! Thank you for the response.
I looked through the available documentation and known issues but didn't find any mention of this issue. I must have missed it.
