2026.3.12 - Entry shortcuts open multiple times

Entry shortcuts (created with right click / edit / create shortcut...) behave like separate entries when opening one of them, so the 'same entry' can be opened as many times as there is a shortcut of it, even with the advanced configuration 'Allow open multiple connections' set to 'No'.
Is this the expected behavior / is there another option that can prevent this? I would expect that all shortcuts behave like a single entry when opening them.
If this is the expected behavior, is there another way to achieve this : I have multiple 'Host' entries where I want to add the same subentry to be launchable when opening the hosts and this subentry should not open a new connection if it was already openned from another host.
