File master key dialog loses password box focus on window focus (regression)
Hello, before 2026.2 I was able to use my password manager to fill the "File master key" in the dialog.
this is no longer possible with 2026.2.13.0 since the quick loss of window focus completely removes the focus of the control (password box) and pasting the password is impossible until you manually select the box with the mouse.
This used to work not long ago.

Same goes for the sign in to Devolutions account dialog window.

Thanks for the detailed report — the fact that this affects both the File Master Key dialog and the Devolutions Account sign-in dialog, right after upgrading to 2026.2, points to a shared regression in how those secondary windows handle focus/activation, not something on your end.
Since you're filling the password from within RDM itself, this looks like an internal copy/paste-into-dialog focus issue rather than something tied to a third-party password manager or browser extension.
A couple of things that would help narrow this down:
- What type of workspace/data source are you using (SQLite, XML, SQL Server, etc.)?
- Does clicking once into the field (without typing anything) restore normal paste behavior, or do you need to click and then paste again every time?
In the meantime, the workaround is what you already found — manually click into the field before pasting. I'll flag this internally as a regression introduced in 2026.2 so the team can look at the window-focus handling on those dialogs specifically.
