Hi,
Since I've upgraded to 2026.2 I can't save my certificates from RDM anymore.
When I click on "Save certificate as..." and try to choose the file I want to save the certificate to I've got an error from the explorer saying the file doesn't exist. Of course the file doesn't exist yet because it's the whole point to export a new file.
Kind regards
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
In order to better investigate the issue, could you please provide us with the following information:
1. A screenshot of the full error message
2. Did this issue start occurring after a recent update to RDM? If so, which version were you on previously?
3. Does the problem occur with all entry types in your data source, or only with a specific type?
This will help us identify the root cause and get you a solution as quickly as possible.
Have a great day,
Tommy Sanders
Hi,
Pease find the screenshot below:
Yes, the issue started after one or more updates do RDM. I don't use that functionality very often though, so I can't tell for sure which version brought the issue, sorry.
The problem occurs with all my certificates entries, I don't use this functionality with any other type of entry.
Kind regards

Hello,
I might be wrong, but could you try adding the extension to the file? I think .com is a reserved extension in Windows. I'm just curious if you could test this.

Sorry, I quickly did the screenshots so I didn't pay attention, but I usually add the correct extension indeed:
As I mentioned in my original message, my guess is that you're now calling the wrong Windows functionality. In this case, we're supposed to have an Windows interface offering to register a file, not to select an existing file. From what I remember, the file name was even pre-filled when it was still working.
Kind regards

Hello,
Thank you for your response.
The issue will be fixed in the next version of RDM (2026.2.12.0), which is expected to be released within the next few days.
Best regards,
Tommy Sanders
Hello,

Please let us know if this works or if you encounter any issues.
Best regards,

Hi,
I can see that the behaviour has changed, but it's still not working unfortunately.
Instead of "choosing a file" you're now asking Windows Explorer to select a "folder", which is obviously wrong:
