Request from a client

I would like to use Mammouth.ai (https://mammouth.ai/) as my AI provider in Remote Desktop Manager (RDM). Mammouth.ai offers access to multiple large language models such as GPT, Claude, DeepSeek, and others through a single platform at a reasonable price. They also provide an API that is fully OpenAI-compatible.
From a technical perspective, the API calls used by Mammouth.ai are the same as OpenAI’s, with the main difference being that Mammouth.ai requires a different base URL for the API endpoint. This is documented in their API documentation: https://info.mammouth.ai/docs/api-quick-start/#models-pricing.
In RDM, there are currently two ways to configure an AI assistant: through File → Settings → AI, which is mainly used for embedded scripts, and by adding a new AI Assistant entry directly. However, in both cases, when selecting OpenAI as the AI provider, the base URL is not configurable and appears to be hardcoded. Because of this limitation, it is not possible to use OpenAI-compatible providers such as Mammouth.ai.
I have tested the OpenAI AI Assistant configuration in RDM, but since I cannot change the base URL, I am unable to point the API calls to Mammouth.ai’s endpoint. As a result, even though the API is OpenAI-compatible, it cannot be used within RDM in its current form.
I would therefore like to request the ability to either modify the base URL for the existing OpenAI provider or add a new “OpenAI-compatible” AI provider option that allows a configurable base URL. This would enable the use of third-party OpenAI-compatible AI services like Mammouth.ai without requiring custom integrations or code changes.
Any help or guidance on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your work and support.
