RDP to Windows won't ask for Password before connect

I discovered a new behaviour today with v 2025.3.8.3

I have my connections sorted into folders. On the folders i put in my domain\username but without passwords.
On my Windows connections, I set the "Credentials" on the General tab to "Inherited"

Until now when starting a connection I got prompted for my password to enter.
Now I'm getting straight to the windows logon screen - or get an error because of bad credentials.

Even if I put domain\username in the connection itself without password it's the same behaviour. Only if I check the "always ask for password" it's behaving as always, but that wasn't like this before. And: "always ask for password" isn't an option if I inherit my credentials from a higher level.

How can I fix this?

P.S.: just went back to v 2525.2.12.6 and the problem is gone. So it's definitely the new version what's causing this
