Scaling / Sizing issues with embedded Web-Sessions

Scaling / Sizing issues with embedded Web-Sessions

avatar

Hi,

I am currently facing an recurring issue with embedded Websites often not being displayed properly and requiring a restart of RDM to be fixed.

This image should showcase the issue:

As visible on the image the website frame does not open inside the actual RDM-Tab correctly.
This causes some issues, including mouse click not applying on the corresponding area of the website (Clicking "Login" or similar would usually result in the click registering somewhere above or below the button).

I am assuming this might be caused by my 2 monitors using FHD resolution but my notebook display having a resolution of 2240x1400. The notebook display is turned off when connected to the monitors.
Resizing the RDM-Window does not resolve the issue, my only known fix is restarting the application.

RDM Version: 2025.3.25.0 Arm 64-Bit
DVLS Version: 2025.3.10.0

Your assistance would be appreciated.
Best Regards,
MG

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us regarding this matter.

Could you please confirm whether this issue occurs with all entry types or only with specific website entries?

Additionally, does the issue still occur when your monitors are not in use?

In the meantime, could you also send me a screenshot of the entry's properties?

Best regards,

Tommy Sanders

Hello,

sorry for the long delay, busy time of the year.

The issue occurs with all tested Web-Entries.
It occurs when using Edge or Chrome-Mode, it does NOT happen with Internet Explorer (Legacy) mode.

The issue occurs even when the monitors are not in use.

Additional information: I have just faced the same resizing issue, but did not plug or unplug the PC to the Docking-Station at any point (It was connected the whole time).

Sample entry properties look like this:

If I missed something or you need anything else, kindly let me know.
Thank you & have a nice day.

Best Regards,
MG
