RDM Freezes when PC locked and has to be killed from task manager

If I leave RDM open and lock my PC overnight, and typically switch networks a few times (home and back to work etc), then RDM freezes up and can't interact with it at all. Can't click anything, and end up having to end the process from task manager to reopen it. Have others experienced this, and what can be done about it?
