Popup behavior in weblink

Hello,
Do you have a public website you could use as an example? This will help us work on this request. We might need to distinguish when to open a new tab and create a popup instead.

I don't have a public website, but maybe you have access to an on premise Exchange environment? When using the ECP and adding a new mailbox you have several popup's.

Have also encountered this issue with Exchange and some vSphere/vCenter pages, such as when downloading a file from a datastore. It would be great if there was an option on the web site type entries in RDM to allow popups.

Could you please provide a screenshot of the behavior you are experiencing? I had a similar case recently, and I’m wondering if it might be related.

In the meantime, could you also let me know your current RDM version? If you are not already using the latest version (2024.3.19.0), kindly update your RDM and test it again.

Hi Tommy,

Here is a screenshot of an error that occurs when attempting to open a console viewer window from Dell iDrac. The console opens in a new tab in RDM, but gets stuck at 'connecting to viewer', and on the original tab it shows an error saying popups are blocked. It works fine if I do it outside of RDM.
