Quicker ways to launch a jump session

Quicker ways to launch a jump session

avatar

Hi,

Often when I WFH I use the jump feature to launch a session.

However, I find it a pain to do so..

Is there a better way for me to use jump when needed?

Thanks
Iain

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us on that matter,

To enhance your remote work experience when using the Jump feature, I recommend setting up a Gateway.
A Gateway streamlines your remote sessions by allowing you to connect directly to your desired machine, eliminating the need for manual jumps.

This should save you both time and effort.

Here’s how a Gateway can benefit you:

  • You can connect directly to your sessions, even when working remotely, without the need to manually jump between machines.
  • It simplifies and speeds up the connection process, making it more convenient when switching between sessions.

For more information on setting up the Gateway, please refer to the following documentation:
Devolutions Gateway Configuration Guide.

If you need any further assistance, feel free to reach out to us.

Best regards,

Tommy Sanders

Hi Tommy,

Yes I am aware of and have tried the GW.
We currently can't roll that out so we are making us of the jump feature.

Just looking for away to launch it quicker!

Thanks
Iain

Hello,

After discussing with my colleagues, I regret to inform you that there is no way to expedite the launch at this time.

However, we encourage you to share your idea on our feature request forum, where our development, service desk, and management teams regularly review suggestions. It also allows the community to express interest, which helps us prioritize future feature implementations.

You can post your idea here:
