Hi, I wonder if it's possible to add a option to disable local ime and sent keyboard events directly to remote machine with RDP sessions?
Hi,
Your request will be submitted to our technical service for RDP sessions, and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi,
We have some questions.
For which specific issue do you need this option?
What device and type of keyboard (physical or virtual) are you using?
We could implement an alternative method for sending characters, but we would like to understand the problem you are facing.
Best regards,
André Sanscartier
I am currently using the physical keyboard that came with my tablet and using the tablet as a remote screen. Sometimes, when I’m in class, I need to complete some code editing tasks, but it's not very convenient for me to carry my computer. I hope to make full use of the tablet's convenience through remote desktop.
In the current version, if I press a key, the local IME will appear and take over some of the keyboard shortcuts. If the remote machine also got IME enabled, this could cause shortcut conflicts(such as Shift or Ctrl being incorrectly stuck), or getting extra delay.
If possible, I hope RDM can also add a feature to capture pointers and forward pointer events as they are, in order to prevent the pointers from being mistakenly blocked hidden components on some highly customized android rom.

In our upcoming release, we will add the option to disable IME in the application settings. However, please note that even if IME is disabled, it might not resolve all of your issues. Some keyboard shortcuts are system shortcuts in Android and cannot be bypassed (for example, on non-Samsung devices, ALT + TAB cannot be overridden).
You can also try enabling the option to send input as Unicode under the RDP entry settings, within the local resources section. This can work better in some cases.
If possible, I hope RDM can also add a feature to capture pointers and forward pointer events as they are, in order to prevent the pointers from being mistakenly blocked hidden components on some highly customized android rom.
Do you mean that you have a lot of UI overlays that are present all the time, regardless of the application you're using? If that's the case, you can put the remote session in full screen by tapping on the screen with three fingers. This should hide all UI components from both our application and your UI overlays.

Hi, pointer capture is an android featute design for remote desktop and any application that benefit from getting control over the mouse pointer. the status bar, geature bar and other component from a highly customized android os may create an invisiable overlay and block pointers from moving to that place. I would like to post link here just in case you have no idea about this feature https://developer.android.com/reference/android/view/View#requestPointerCapture().
Hello,
Thank you for the clarification. We will add this feature request to our list. However, we cannot provide any timeframe for its implementation at the moment.
