Is there a way to have multiple username/password setup to link to be able to share the same password?
Here is what i have. We use CyberArk for our admin passwords and the password changes everyday. So i have to go in and update this manually each day. Today i found a case where my username format is different but uses the same password. So i had to create 2 seperate username/passwords and will have to update each manually everyday.
Not a huge deal right now but i can see this becoming more common as i add more devices in RDM.
Below i pasted a pic of the username/passwords i have setup currently. I would like to be abler to tie them to a password so i would be able to just update the password once each day.

Hello,
I understand that you would like to link two username to the same password, since you are using CyberArk to rotate your passwords. Did you know that we can integrate CyberArk to your RDM to pull the credential directly from CyberArk and inject them in an RDP session?
For more information on the CyberArk integration, you can refer to these pages:
Best regards,
I thought this wasnt available in the free version. Is that correct?
Hello,
You are correct, the CyberArk integration does require a license. Unfortunately, there is no way to link two usernames to a single password.
Best regards,
You could just use one credential if the username is the same and its just the format of the username that needs to change based on the session using it.
In the session go to advanced and change the "Username format" to match the format required.
Thanks
Iain

Thank you for this. I didnt know about it. That solves a differnt issue i have but not this one since they are use a different domain in that case. The SSH connection is a bit different. Its AD integrated but requires using its own domain name in the login syntax. Its strange.
Hello,
This is a great idea that I didn't think of. Thank you Lain, for the reminder of that option!
Best regards,
