KeePass Plugin Update fails RDM v2024.1.11.0 (beta)

Good morning.

I just updated to 2024.1.11.0 (beta). I saw the message about KeePass needing to be upgraded when the update box appeared.

I am already on v2.56 (64-Bit) for KP.


I tried launching an RDP connection and it told me my plugin was out of date and tried to update it when that box appeared, which failed.

I also tried updating via the Extensions Manager which fails.

I re-launched RDM as Elevated, since that has done the trick in the past.

I go in to Extentions Manager and I see that the plugin is outdated:


When I click install, it fails:


I have also visited your website to download the latest version of the plugin "https://docs.devolutions.net/kb/remote-desktop-manager/how-to-articles/download-keepass-plugin/".

This provides a link to the KeePass Plugin direct download:


That direct download is the exact current version that I have installed on my machine that was working perfectly fine before the beta update.

Please advise.

UPDATE:

After closing KeePass, the plug in installed:


You may want to put something in the final release that closes KeePass in order to successfully update the plugin, then relaunches KeePass.

Otherwise, you will need to put something on your main update page in big bold letters with a note that says users must close KeePass in order to update.

I'm sure there are numerous other users like myself that launch KP at startup, since it is used in other situations outside of RDM on a daily basis.
