Hi,
We would like to create 2 accounts for several individual persons (an admin account that is only used when necessary and an account with lower permissions).
Will this always require 2 licences or is there a better way to solve this?
RDM Enterprise
Date Source: DVLS
Login via AD (LDAPs)
Kind regards
Hello,
It looks like the Linked Account feature is exactly what you're looking for 😉

Thank you very much, this was indeed what I was looking for :)
Hello,
Awesome, thank you for your feedback! 😎

Awesome!
however....
the article is describing Devolutions servers only it seems... Does it also apply to users in SQL Server datasource ?
Regards, Ben van Zanten
Hello Ben,
Indeed! I just posted the DVLS type because an33 is using this type of data source. For a SQL data source the steps are described in this KB topic; https://docs.devolutions.net/kb/remote-desktop-manager/how-to-articles/link-account/

Thanks for your quick reply.
Then I have 1 additional question. Is the account linking only or specifically meant for License management, or would other things be linked/shared as well, like the users private vault, or other settings?
Regards, Ben
Hello Ben,
No, the accounts are still separated, this feature covers only the license topic.
