Hello,
It would be very helpful if we had the ability to cycle through tabs in their most recently used order instead of the order displayed on the tab bar. This is also in-line with how most tabbed applications cycle (or at least they provide an option to cycle in MRU even if it is not the default). From reading the thread here it sounds like this used to cycle in the order the tabs were opened but then it was changed to the tab display order at some point.
So if it is possible to add an option to cycle in MRU order (perhaps two additional configurable keyboard shortcuts for "select next MRU tab" and "select previous MRU tab" in the shortcut list, also perhaps with an option to set the limit for most MRU tabs that would be "remembered" for this functionality) - that would be very much appreciated!
Thanks!

Hello,
I will create a feature request for that. I'm curious to know if you would like the recently accessed order or the creation order like it was before?

Awesome, thank you so much! Please, if we could do the most recently accessed order, that would be excellent! Thanks!

Hello, just wondering if there was any update on this?

It still on my todo list. I will try to raise the priority.

Sure, no worries - just checking in again if you had any luck with this?
Best regards

Hello again, just wondering if there was any update on this? Having the ability to Ctrl+Tab to go back and forth between the most recently used tabs would be very useful for me (I use this key combo very often in browser, SSMS and other apps for the same). Not sure how big of a lift it would be though.
Best regards,
