Compatibility of Clients with RDM SQL Server Version
Hi
We have RDM with MS SQL Server and we want to upgrade the Clients from 2021.1.20 to the newest Version.
Is the new client able to work with the old database version? Because if something went totally wrong and we need a few days to fix the problem the clients should still be available.
Did you have a list or something like this for which client version is compatible with which database version?

Hello Rolf,
The new client should work, but there will be a prompt to upgrade the database each time. We recommend you do a backup of your SQL database prior to the update, so it can be restored if there is an issue.

Can you please tell me where I can find the "SQL Server/Azure SQL Database version". I was not able to find anything in the KB, RDM Client nor in the database.

It will then be shown on the database line:
