Hi
there's an option for RDP which handels the maximum retries, when the connection to the host gets lost. Default is 5 retries, but you can change it with the following paramter in the default.rdp file:
autoreconnect max retries:i:200
Can I change this option somewhere in Remote Desktop Manager?
When I'm loosing my VPN connection, I want to keep my RDP connections. But most of the time, 5 retries is not enough to reconnect my VPN. I'm aware of the feature "Keep Tab on disconnect", but that's not feasable for my situation, because I work on many different servers and they are changing constantly. And I don't want to explicitly say, that this tab should stay on disconnect.
Thanks
Tobias
Hello,
I do not believe we have a feature for that, I will check with the engineering department!

Hello,
This is not implemented but it can be easily added. I will add this to our todo list.

Ok, that would be great. Thank you very much!

I second that request! I work thru a tempermental VPN and often I can reconnect quickly to the VPN, but not quick enough to reconnect to my RDP session, so this would be a big help.
Thanks!
Hello,
This is already implemented and it will be in RDM 2021.1

I also want to increase the number of retries, where do I have to change it? Thank you.
Hello,
You will find it under File - Options - Types - Remote Desktop :
