Not sure if it is a feature request, an enhancement, or whatever, but I'd really like to have the 'host' textbox (and maybe other textboxes as well) larger in a number of connection entries: at least RDP, SSH, PSM Connection,, etc.
why:
We really like to use templates for our connection entries, then when creating new connections, we fill in the least number of fields possible (only the name, and Asset-Host name and Asset-Domain ). Then in other tabs, AND in subconnections we use variables. to point to these fields using $INFORMATION_MACHINE_NAME$ and $MACHINE_DOMAIN$
Example Asset tab on an RDP entry:
In our master entries (type RDP) the hostname becomes : $INFORMATION_MACHINE_NAME$.$MACHINE_DOMAIN$
and it "just" doesn't fit anymore.
Then in subconnections it becomes worse: Below this RDP 'master' entries we create ILO, SSH, Web, PSM sessions, VMWare console etc connections for the same machines where we use PARENT variables, and then the textbox is really too small
For example in a PSM subsession, the hostname becomes: $INFORMATION_MACHINE_NAME$.$MACHINE_DOMAIN$
The Host textbox shows only 1/2 of the text but has LOTS of room left to the right of this dialog. (PSM server field may be somewhat larger here ;-) )
Same with HP ILO (sub)connections:
and SSH connections and probably some others... as well.
The HP ILO Web connection however is OK ! Just like website and web browser connections.
So hopefully it is a small amount of work for a small improvement, but still it makes our experience a little bit better :-)

Hello Ben,
Thanks for the feedback. We'll open a ticket to improve these windows gradually since there are a lot of them. I understand why it would be very annoying to edit your host once you have a few variables in there (especially the longer ones).
