Prompted for password everytime start Remote Desktop Manager

We run the Enterprise edition of RDM on a Windows 10 computer.

Now moving to a new notebook and have download/installed RDM, However each time RDM starts at startup of notebook we are prompted for Devolutions Account Login password everytime - we want this saved. Under File, Devolutions Account we have selected Automatically sign-in at startup. Also under Help Diagnostic we have Support local password saving checked.

How do I have this password remembered so we do not have to type in the Devolutions password each time. It is successfully remembered on the original notebook but not this new setup.

Hello Dale,

Maybe the Always ask password is check mark in your data source setup. Go to File - Data Sources to check it out:

Hi Christine,

Our File, Data Sources panel look nothing like you screenshot, no tabs etc, however we do have "Automatically sign-in at startup checked"

So any other thoughts how to resolve this password prompt everytiIme we start RDM?

Dale

Hi Dale,

What version of RDM are you using (under Help-About)? That being said, could you send me a screenshot?

Thank you for your version screenshot.
Sorry but I meant a screenshot of your Datasource panel that you say is very different from mine. You can hide any sensitive information.

Hi Christine,

I see I was opening the incorrect field, not the one you recommended to check.

As soon as I get to the office I will check the setting you recommend and report back.

Cheers,
Dale
