Can you please add Ctrl+Alt+End to Special Commands?
It is required for many Sesssion in Session Operation.
Thanks Peter
Hello,
Just to confirm, what entries would you like this for? RDP?

Hubert Mireault
Yes, of course!
With Multiple Layers of RDP Sessions this keys are caught by the first Session.
I wonder why nobody else is missing this!
I typically use Settings - Windows key on the remote computer to have most of the special keys sent to the inner session..
But for Ctrl-Alt-Del/End especially when i have more nested RDP sessions I use the Special commands - send Ctrl-Alt-Delete menu to make sure the keystrokes end up in the correct session I want.

Hello,
Does "Send Ctrl-Alt-Delete" work for your case, Peter?

Was this never resolved, the ability to send ctrl+alt+end to the RDP session?
I have tried typing macros to no avail
Hello,
Unfortunately from our testing it was not possible to send this command through nested RDP sessions.

just to be clear
not possible to send crtl+alt+del to the nested RDP? which i would not expect to be possible
or
not possible to send crtl+alt+end to the primary RDP? which seems like it should be doable.
Hello,
It's not possible to send Ctrl-Alt-End to the nested RDP. On my end though, I tested with a single RDP instance and it works well when I press Ctrl-Alt-End on my keyboard, or press the "Send ctrl-alt-del" button in RDM in the actions tab.
Do you need to send it through a macro, or are you trying it manually? I didn't try with a macro but I suspect it should also be possible.

Hubert Mireault
I did try with a macro and could not get it to work . . . however i'm rather new and ignorant to macros so theres a possiblity i set it up wrong or with wrong settings. The macro itself was merely {CTRL-ALT-END}.
And the need is similar to what others have said, we do end up having a not-insignificant number of nested RDP sessions, and currently it appears the only way to get to the typical crtl+alt+del screen is to bring up the onscreen keyboard on the nest RDP machine . . . so rather cumbersome.
Hello,
The macros simulate keyboard input so it would be the same as you pressing "Ctrl Alt END", and if that doesn't already work, I don't think the macro would help either.
I will check with our devs to see if they might have an idea if there would be an alternative way to do this for nested RDPs that we haven't already tried.

Hello,
We found a possible way to accomplish this, so I have reopened our ticket to push this investigation further. When we have an update, we will post back here.
