After installing the latest update (2020.2.12.0) i lost the configuration of the session recording. I had that set in "Local Datasource" (and inherited in the sub- / customer folders and entries).
After that i did some testing (i have the application installed on 3 different machines) and even going from the ".12" to the ".13" version did not keep the session recording settings. So i had to reconfigure that part (thank god i had a documentation of the settings in "path" regarding the variables i used).
If you have the application pinned in the taskbar after installing an update, it's gone and you have to pin it again (not a big deal, just saying).
Btw, shouldn't this be backed up in the backup procedure (File -> Backup -> Execute Backup)?

Hello,
Thank you for reporting these issues. Do you know what version you were on before updating to RDM 2020.2.12? It might help us reproduce and fix the issue faster.
Also, did you execute a backup restore after upgrading to RDM 2020.2.12.0? If the information isn't saved to the backup, it might have caused the issue when restoring.
For the shortcut, we don't have a solution for this at the moment since Windows 10 doesn't have public APIs for this anymore: https://www.advancedinstaller.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=31116

Hello,
This is really strange. Could you post a print screen of the exact location where the setting is lost?

Hello Sasha,
We've opened a ticket to take a look at this issue, we'll let you know once we have figured out what is causing this. Thank you for all the information by the way.

Hello,
So, after investigation, we weren't able to reproduce the issue when updating from 2020.2.12 to 2020.2.13. Still, I believe that saving the information stored in the Vault Settings when doing backups would fix your issue. As it currently is, after any restore, it would wipe your settings. I'm currently testing these changes, and it seems to work well for me. It should be available in RDM 2020.2.14.0, which we are planning to release within the next 24 hours.

Hi Hubert,
i just went from "Local Datasourc" to "Devolutions Online Drive".
First of all that helped me with the problem i had regarding to backup / restore my entries every time i worked on a different computer.
This also helped me recarding the recording settings.
Check this if you like: https://forum.devolutions.net/topics/33878/rdm-automaticaly-fetch-latest-backup
So this would be solved for me so far.
Thank you for your help.
