If you set an RDP connection to FALSE for automatic logoff, you can still right click on the open connection tab and select "Logoff" which is great.
However, we want to set TRUE for automatic logoff, but there is no open to manually "disconnect without logoff". This would be a great feature as 95% of the time a user wants to log off, so automatic logoff is great, but there are some times when disconnect is important as something is running on the server.
Please consider.
It's a good idea. I will add this to our todo list.

You can just close the tab? That's a disconnect..
A menu option seems overkill? But, its certainly not a problem. :-)

@David
It's for the case when Automatically Logoff on Disconnect is set and the user does not want to logoff the session.

Ah.. that makes more sense then.. :-)

@david any idea when this will be added?
Hello,
This was not implemented yet but I did a small analysis this morning. Here is my idea. I could add in the Ribbon, next to the View Only Mode a checkbox/setting Logoff on disconnect. This could be used to manually activate the automatic logoff on disconnect or (for your case) disable it. By default it would use the setting from Automatically logoff. What do you think?

We hide the ribbon by default. The most logical place to put it is here. Add "Disconnect" directly after "Reconnect" and before "Log Off", given it's a similar option
Hello,
No problem. The ticket is now created and I confident that this will be in RDM 2021.2. This is our next major update planned after the summer.

Brilliant news - thanks David.
Hopefully this enhancement is still on track for 2021.2 as well - we are eagerly anticipating it's release to increase security.

Hi
We have added this feature internally. It should be available starting with version 2021.2.0.0
