Hi,
is it possible to have such a scenario:
4 sessions a,b,c,d.
Tab group groupAB with sessions a and b
Tab group groupCD with sessions c and d
sessions a and b split vertically
sessions c and d split horizontally
and switch between two views with tab groups ?
So can different tab groups have different split screen session simultaneously.
Hello,
It is possible to achieve something similar to what you are trying to do by "moving" your AB Tab Group to the top part of your Dashboard and your CD Tab Group to the Lower part of your Dashboard.
While "moving" your tab group, you will notice the Following icon. This icon will allow you to configure how you want to pin your tabs.
Once your tabs are in the desired location, your Dashboard should look similar to this:
As you can see, my Tab Group AB (1) is located at the top of the Dashboard while my Tab Group CD (2) is located a the bottom.

Similar but not quite what I had in mind.
This was a bit simplified example, my actual goal is to:
1. Open sessions A and B simultaneously, as I always use them in a pair. Is there any other way to this beside play list ?
2. When A and B are opening have them split vertically automatically to have them side by side - so there would need to be a way to remember split screen and don't think there is such a feature :(
3. Have A and B in the same tab group. So when I use session E (in tab group EF) that is embedded full window, then switch to tab AB and go from full windows to split windows just by switching tab group. Sort of like having a different view for different tab groups.
Hello,
Thank you for clarifying your point. At this point, I don't think that what you are trying to achieve is supported.
For this reason, I recommend that you post a feature requests, using the following link https://forum.devolutions.net/forum17-remote-desktop-manager--feature-request.aspx
This will allow the community to demonstrate interest in your idea. We use this interest to prioritize the features we implement.
