Hi,
I have an issue where a RDP session after a jump to a jump host is not working.
Using RDM Enterprise 13.6.7 64 bit
Situation :
PC 1 (IP 10.0.0.x)
Jump host (IP 10.0.5.x) (virtual machine on domain)
Normal RDP to customer (172.x.x.x)
Jump from PC1 to jumphost works fine.
RDM on auto start on jumphost
However the RDP to 172.x.x.x doesn't start.
When disconnecting session to jumphost (so, still having inactive session on jumphost), the RDP to 172.x.x.x is starting after jump.
On new session it doesn't work
Hello,
I had a chat with our engineering department and it seems that the RDM Agent issue posted here https://forum.devolutions.net/topic29924-rdm-agent-issue.aspx?lastpage=1#post120288 can also be the cause of the issue described above with RDM Jump.
I may think that when the RDM agent issue will be resolved in the other thread, it will resolve this issue as well.
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
I'm not sure if that is the case, because to avoid the RDM agent not being connected I made sure that RDM Enterprise is being started
each time a jump is made to the machine.
As said, the jump itself works well, it starts RDM at each jump.
(also we use this same virtual machine to jump and build a VPN connection (like Cisco AnyConnect) to other customers and that works well.
It's just the start of a normal RDP session on the jump host that is not working)
But let me first tackle the RDM Agent issue, than I will have a look at the other issue.
UPDATE : I take back my words.....
I have had great support on the RDM Agent issue in the other topic and solved it by creating a file "RDMAgent.exe.config".
Once I had the RDM Agent working perfectly, the jump as spoken in the openingpost is working without any pain.
Thank you so much for the support
Hello,
Sorry for the delay, but thanks a lot for the feedback, it's much appreciated.
