I hope someone can offer some advice.
I have been experiencing the current version (4.0.3.0) of Remote Desktop Manager constantly freezing with a status of not responding leaving only 2 options. Sit and wait for it to start responding or end task on the app via task manager & restart it.
I am am using SQLite on the local hard drive as the only data source.
Are there any specific folders to maybe exclude for antivirus software?
Would be grateful for any suggestions to resolve.
Hi,
Is it when you close a session that this happen?
Regards
David Hervieux
Not really. It can occur anytime. I mostly notice it when I am working in a session and the entire app freezes. This occurs every day.
Could you verify if you see anything in the application logs (Help ribbon)?
Regards
David Hervieux
Hi David,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Below are the only events of significance in the app logs.

We are not seeing constant freezing but I have had RDM freeze multiple times in the past week. I am running ver. 13.0.5.0
Often I see it logging into a RDS session.
@Gary Herbstman,
Are you using RDM 13 in a Terminal Services environment (RDS)?
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Yes, but not in this case. This happens on both my desktop computers.
@Gary,
Does RDM freeze when you do a specific action?
Do you have something relevant in Help -> View Application Log?
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
I have the same issue. when try to reconnect or open other server send me unable to reconnect and freeze and do it endtask and open again
System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80004005): Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component.
