Hi,
I have been experiencing annoying hangs for quite some time now when using RDM (even with no session open and RDM running in the background). Symptoms are delayed keyboard input (3-5 seconds between key press and character showing on-screen), programs not responding to mouse clicks, application hangs and the wise.
I have already added the Program Files and AppData folders to my Windows Defender exclusion list. I also tried to monitor background activity in Resource Monitor but couldn't see anything out of the ordinary except RDM using up to 25% of my CPU in standby and "not responding" occasionally.
I'm on Windows 10 1709 and RDM 13.0.2. Is there any way I could find out what is causing these hangs?

What data source type do you use?

Hi David,
thanks for your quick reply. Right now I'm working offline as we haven't upgraded our database to v13 yet, but usually I am connecting to a SQL database.
Another thing that sometimes happens, though I don't think that this has something to do with the lags that are occuring, is that I can't open sessions with a double click. I have to right-click items and select "Open Session" for it to work until I restart the program.

We are investigating for the double click:

Thanks! I did have this problem with v12 as well though, so at least for me that's nothing new. It doesn't happen that often though, unresponsiveness is far more frequent.
Another reproducable error I noticed yesterday was that when I right-click on an item, open Properties, cancel out and right-click on the item again, RDM hangs for about 10-20 seconds and then resizes its window. I'm using snap-to-corner on Windows 10 if that is relevant.
