Hi guys,
I'm now running 12.0.8.0 and the active tab colour is no different to when it's inactive.
This must've happened since my last update (I think from 12.0.3). I can no longer tell which tab is actually active visually.
Hello,
Could you post a print screen of what you are seeing please.
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
Hello,
I forgot to ask you if the Highlight active tab page option is enable in File -> Options -> User interface.
Best regards,
Jeff Dagenais
This option wasn't enabled, although even after enabling it and restarting it doesn't make any difference to anything as far as I can tell.
In the image, while the border seems to extend for the active it's not easy to tell. It used to have the active tab a bolder colour so that it was obvious. The middle tab used to be a different blue than those last 2 tabs if it was active.

Hi,
the highlight only work if you don't have a custom color. You right that the active tab used to be a different color but we had issue with the font color (sometime it's need to be black and sometime it need to be white).
I will see what I can do if the option Highlight active tab is checked.

Ah yes, I did notice the font was impossible to read when on a dark colour prior to my update to 12.0.8
I don't see any option for font colours. Maybe a feature request that you could have it so that the user can choose custom tab font colour as well?
Yes this is an idea.

I too would like to see a white font on a dark tab color. Purple seems to be the worst.
I'd love to see that feature too in the next release because black font on black tab is not that nice
Could you post a print screen? I know my request might sound strange but there is so many possibilities with the tab colors and I prefer to see exactly what you get.

Here's a smattering of tab colors I see most every day. First tab (Purple) is really bad. Last one (Dark Green) is not as bad, but not good. Middle two are fine.
I'd like to see a white lettering on the first and last tab, instead of the current black.

Thank you. We use a function to use the white or black font color automatically by detecting the luminosity of the tab color. Unfortunately it's not perfect and a custom color is the only solution.

It seems that the Themes are acting different. I've set the color to transparent and i only expect that with the Office 2013 Style (which i like the most)
I've attached 3 Screenshots
1. RDM v11 Office 2013
2. RDM v12 Office 2013
3. RDM v12 Default Theme
If the Office 2013 Theme would act like the Default Theme my Problems would be solved

Hi,
I've made the change for 2013. It will act like the default theme.

Thank you David! I assume its available in the next Beta 12.0.17.0?
Exactly.

Great to hear!
This is a little OT but when we're already talking about themes: Is it possible to change the application icon itslef? Adding a main.ico (like trayicon.ico) in the Themes folder or something like that...that would be really nice!
