Can't move objects in the tree by dragging anymore

I can't reorganize the items in the data source tree by just dragging them to another folder anymore.
The 'Do you really want to move this section' confirmation dialog pops up as soon as I start dragging, instead of when I release the button at the destination.

I think it started after the last update (11.7.3.0), but in any case, I remember moving items that way not more than a few weeks ago.

Here too Windows 10 64 bit with anniversary update.
Using the 32 bit version of RDM because of other minor issues in the 64 bit version (slow startup, SSH tabs refusing to close after connection is terminated).
