Hello,
we you the Cisco ASA ASDM with Locally installed ASDM and our password input not correctly as auto login.
We think - it´s a problem from the password
The Password is Taxw+d7Z@XXX (letter change - but the + and @ is right)
We have test it with many other letter - but when the + and @ is in the password - it doesn´t work.
ASDM Plugin : 2.0.4.0
RDM : 11.7.2.0
Hello Michael,
In the entry's settings there should be an advanced tab in which there is an option called "Disable special character handling for password". Could you enable that option and see if this works? We'll investigate on our end.

Hello Hubert,
i have check it - but it doesn´t work. When it is enable - it writes only 4 "*" Letter there of the 12 Letters Password.
When it is disable it writes 14 Letters of the 12 Letters Password.
Thank you for trying it out Michael, we'll see what we can do, I'll keep you updated.
Regards,
Hubert Mireault
I made a small change in the add-on and linked it to this post. Could you try it out and give us some feedback? You will need to make sure "disable special character handling in password" option is not checked (so the default settings). I tried with the example password you gave me and it sends properly to an application like Notepad.
You can install the add-on by dropping the DLL file in %LocalAppData%\Devolutions\RemoteDesktopManager

Hello Hubert,
thanks - it works! I have tested it with our password and we can connect to all Firewalls very well.
Thanks for the very good and quick support!
Greetings from Germany

That's good to hear! :) We'll publish the new add-on version to our website since it works well. Thank you for the feedback.
