Allow SSH ports with variables

Would like to use a variable, like custom field 1, to be used in a port field.

Eg, to create a template ssh tunnel (eg for various mysql hosts), where the local port is to be specified on the mysql host entry and to be used within a ssh tunnel template

Hello Hans,
Our current architecture does not allow us to do. It's not possible to set a string (variable) into an integer (port). I have to think on how I could add this. For now I don't have any idea.

I'll second this request - actually came to this forum today to request it! One thought: if the host was specified in the common IP:PORT format (e.g. 1.2.3.4:3389), could you override the value in the port field?

Is this now possible?

@rlempens,

What version of RDM are you running?

What are you trying to accomplish exactly? Could you provide us more details?
