Hi,
The finger print is a special field? Do you think that we could have access to this server to do a test. WE don't need the finger print, we just want to get this prompt to debug it.
David Hervieux
i do not understand what you mean with special field?
it happen with every server in my company that i never connected to. Every server i have never accepted the fingerprint.
This is what this window look like in putty:
i think the empty window should contain that data.
if i press abort is get this message:
if i press ok the connection is established and i am never asked again.
access to my server is not possible, but the problem is not limited to one server nor to my machine. Happens with my notebook (win8) also.
greetings

Have you tried to save the key in the application configuration? You can set in the Private Key section.
David Hervieux
i am not loggin in with a private key, just password.
let me explain again what i mean:
When you use putty to connect to a server you have never been before putty shows you the fingerprint (as in fingerprint_bug_3.png) to let you verify that you connect to the correct server and are not going to give your username and password to the wrong server. everytime you connect to a ssh shell putty verify the fingerprint he knows with the offered by the server. if everything is okay you dont se the fingerprint windows ever again. if the fingerprint changed you get an warning, becourse somebody could try a man in the middle attack oder similiar.
if you don't have an ssh server in your company try a public:

Hi,
We just updated our beta version (8.0.14.0) with some enhancements regarding SSH connection.
It now include SSH fingerprint management as you suggested.
Please note that we didn't increase the version, if you already have that version you have to download it again.
