Hello,
I am trying to set up shortcuts for several Office 365 admin consoles which I have access to.
When using a basic Web Browser (HTTP/HTTPS) entry appears to work fine. I can add credentials to the entry and that logs me in OK.
However I'm having a few issues where the admin console needs to use pop-ups. The website often uses popups in which you select user accounts from a list. It appears the RDM software doesn't like the use of popups. It doesn't seem to close them, you press OK to confirm the change but the window just sits idle.
Is there alternative to using the Web Browser entry?
Have you tried the embedded Chrome instead of IE?

Yeah - I've tested with the IE, Chrome and Firefox options. Firefox has further options but they didn't seem to help either.
Is there a way the browser can be opened in stand alone mode opposed to within the RDM application?
You could use the web connection in external mode with the Browser Extension installed to retrieve the username/password:

I will check what we can do internally with the Office 365 console.

Hi,
A way to open the web connection in external mode (work fine) but in "open a new private windows", like this, it's possible to open multiple instance at the same time...
Thank's
Hi,
I think it's possible to do that with embedded Chrome and the latest version of RDM. It's the only one that support private mode.

Hi
Any movement on this? I am having a similar issue with the Exchange Admin Console. Popups don't seem to work as expected unless I use External Mode (which kind of defeats the purpose of having all may sessions tabbed within RDM)
Thanks
Alan
@alan,
We use third party libraries for the integration of Firefox and Google Chrome in the Embedded Display Mode. For Internet Explorer, we use the Microsoft ActiveX that is installed at the same time as the browser.
If none of the web browsers work in embedded Display Mode, you would need to launch the website using the External Display Mode and use our Devolutions Web Login to handle the credentials.
Best regards,

Thanks for the response Jeff. Yeah it doesn't work with any of the browsers and the External mode is the workaround I'm having to use at the moment. The main issue with this is it breaks one of the main feature for my using RDM i.e. everything in the one tabbed interface. The Office 365 and Exchange consoles are both a big part of my environment and neither work in embedded (nor does ServiceNow, another major player in out environment)
Thanks
Alan
