Remote Desktop Manager Closing without message back to desktop on windows 10
Hi
I have Remote Desktop 10.6.7 enterprise running on windows 10 enterprise.
Up until yesterday everything was working fine.
Now when I run remote desktop manager and attempt to RDP to any machine, Remote desktop manager just closes.
There is no error - just the workspace where the RDP window is usually shown goes black, then the whole application closes.
I am wondering if anyone else has had any issues like this or might offer some suggestions.
I tried to view the logs - but there is nothing in them about the attempted session connection - its like it doesn't get an opportunity to write the logs.
This problem happens with both 32 and 64 bit Remote Desktop Manager.
I am able to use normal RDP to remote to the computers I am trying to access with Remote Desktop Manager.
I have run an SFC /scannow and repaired some corrupt system files and I have also re-installed remote desktop manager twice - once before corrupt files fixed and once after.
I still have the same results - it just disappears.
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Rod.
Just got an error in the windows event logs - First one :)
it appears there is a problem with the ATI video driver
it was updated about a week ago - so I will roll it back and see if the problem is fixed.

Hi all
Problem solved - it was the latest ATI video card driver for windows 10.
uninstalled driver and let windows install the one from windows update and Remote Desktop is working again

Hi Guys
Just an update. This problem was caused by an option I had ticked to enable Cross Fire for applications that do not have a cross fire profile.
Unchecking that box corrected the problem with the latest AMD driver.
