RDM Updater freezes whole OS during download

When updating RDM beta - the updater program during the download will stream so many kb, then freeze the OS, then some more, then freeze it again, it halts and delays keyboard input - not mouse input strangely enough, but it has done this for a few versions now and has annoyed me enough now to open a support request for it.

Spec nothing stupid:

i7, 16GB RAM, SSD

Any advice or has this behavior been exhibited before?

This is strange. I will check with the support to see if they can reproduce it.

Any logs I can provide to help?

Hi,

I have tried to update RDM 10.1.8.0 to 10.1.10.0 and the update was successful.

Could you send us your application logs (you will retrieve them in Help -> View Application Log) at support@devolutions.net.
