Permissions issues- no restrictions

Good Morning,

We have the Enterprise version of RDPM, and it seems that there is no way to restrict users from accessing RDPM at all. Any user on the domain has access to all sessions once they install the custom Installer. They do not need to be set up as users in RDPM at all. Also, all users are listed as Administrator/SysAdmin/DbOwner under Help>About in RDPM, and they have th corresponding functions within RDPM. I have checked the DB to see if the security settings are allowing this, and it does not appear to be the case. I did not set this up originally either unfortunately. Any assistance is appreciated.

It's the newest version- 6.1.7601

Sorry, my mistake- I have 7.6.1.0 . Do I need to update the server version? It is also 7.6.1.0. I would go to 7.6.3.0, but I cannot create a custom installer with it.

You don't need a server update. If you could you confirm that this fixes your problem I will ask André to activate the new version custom installer template?

Hm, still doesn't work. I was still able to access everything with a user that has not been added to RDPM users. Any other ideas? Thanks!

Could you go in the About to see if the user is SYSBA or DB_OWNER?

Yes, all users are listed as Administrator/SYSadmin/DB_OWNER, including the test account.

That's the problem. They are view as database administrator by SQL Server

Ah I am dumb. I just created another account to connect to the database with datareader permissions only to connect to the DB to fix the issue. I guess when they set this thing up initially it defaulted to the SA when connecting to the DB. Thanks for the help. Hopefully this is all I need.
