Ctrl+B copy username & password bug

Ctrl+B copy username & password bug

avatar

Hi guys,

We have a little strange problem we like to report. Maybe you have an solution for this, maybe it is fixed in the new beta.

When we use the right mouse button on a credential or an session to copy username or password everything works fine. This will work on different types. When we select an session in the dashboard after selecting a group folder and hit the Ctrl+B shortcut it isnt copying the requested username but the first username in the entry list (dashboard) is copied.
Example based on add image : select user2 and hit Ctrl+B, open notepad or an remote session and paste your clipboard : user1 is entered.
The same will happen with the command Ctrl+Shift+B

Is there an option or a feature to let the shortcuts work on the dashboard as well as in the treeview?

We know it works fine when you select an entry in the left column, the treeview.
We didn't test this on the beta 9.5 version.

Hello,

The shortcut is handled by the outer layer, not by the dashboard itself. I can confirm this is the same in the latest beta. I will need to discuss this with David when he becomes available.

Thank you

Hello,

the feature to copy the credentials to clipboard is somehow strange. I can copy my from a VPN entry, but not from a Cisco ASDM entry. Can you please check this!
I'm now on 10.0.1.0

Hi,
I just released a new version of the Cisco ASDM add-on (2.0.2.0).
It should fix your clipboard issue.
Best regards,
