Undelete and Rollback

avatar

Hi,

I'm trialling Remote Desktop Manager Enterprise for my company. We've set it up pointing to one of our SQL Server databases, and we have users distributed around the world.

If I'm an admin and I accidentally change a password, can I rollback that session to the previous password? Can I see what the previous password was?

What if I accidentally deleted (or worse, mass deleted) sessions, can I undelete those? Can I recover them in mass?

Is any journalling done, or does it just store the latest connections?

Since synchronization and handling of these sorts of issues is key for our organization, I need to figure out how this is handled.

Thanks,

Uriah

Hi,
Unfortunately we don't have this yet. This is a feature planned for the Remote Desktop Manager Server but not the verson 1.0. For now, I suggest that you backup you database every day.

Okay, good to know.

How should we go about backing it up. Should we just do an SQL Server based backup?

Hi,
Exactly you should configure a SQL Server standard backup.
