New Add-On : Bomgar Representative Console

Hi Maxime,

thanks a lot for integrating Bomgar with the Remote Desktop Manager. Unfortunetally I am not able to use the plugin as I always get the error "Unable to find Bomgar executable".

Is there any way I have not seen yet to specify the path of the executable to get it running?

Please take a look at our help topic on the Bomgar integration http://help.remotedesktopmanager.com/index.html?addons_bomgarrc.htm If you want to specify a different path for the add-on, you can do so by going into Files > Options > Path > Configure installation path, find the Bomgar settings and edit the path.

With Bomgar being purchased by Beyond Trust. Is there a way to get this to work now? I can locate bomgar, but not beyond trust, and I am unable to get this to work with the new beyond trust connections.

At the moment only the Boomgar Representative Console is supported. The Bomgar Remote Support has not been implemented yet.

Can anybody help why it is not posible to fil out the bomgar sitee entry when creating an new entry ?

Thank you for contacting us on that matter!

The "Bomgar Site" field is not a text field, this is the reason why you are not able to write in it. It is actually a dropdown that is filled in automatically by RDM when it finds the Bomgar sites installed on your machine. In your case, it is empty because RDM couldn't find these sites.

Our Engineering Department has opened an improvement request to make it evident that this is actually a dropdown to avoid further confusion.

can you add option to search not only BRCS files but all as for example i have brcs-opengi extension which is execute in boomgar

We've added the "All Files" extension when browsing for files with the Bomgar Add-On.
This should be available for the 2023 version.
