Error while saving user
I get below error when a save a (unchanged) user
I use AD authentication and the user was created many versions ago. at the moment we are running version 11.1.

Hello,
Just below the ID field in your print screen, you should see an Authentication Type field.
If you are using a SQL Server data source, you would need to select Database in the dropdown menu and the message will disappear.

Will it not affect my authentication against my domain?
I noticed that after changing it to Database the field becomes disabled.

No, this will not affect the authentication against your domain or datasource.
Right, after that you have set the field to Database, the option is disabled because now the user is setup properly.
