Group Permissions

Hello,

Im not sure if this is a bug or something im not doing right.

I have created a user group called View and basically want them to only be able to see one folder out of 20 or so.

Ive assigned all the folders except the one i want them to see to another group called Full.

Now when i login as the limited user they can still see all the other folders & access them as normal.

Any ideas?

Hi,
The security group must be assigned to the session and not the folder. It's not inherited, if you assign it to the folder, it's only to hide the information (description, attachment ...) and not the content.

ok... Wondering then how easy it would be to add such a feature to restrict views on folders? Would be a handy feature?

This will be an handy feature for sure, but the problem but it's a little bit more difficult than what it seems. This could be a default security group. Anyway, I will consider it for a future release.
